I have installed the cm-13.0-20161218-NIGHTLY-
for my Galaxy i9100 and use Kernel cm12.1
and it worked out fine, but I have 2 problems

1, at the time of installing open_gapps-arm-6.0-stock-20170909 from the recovery says that there is no space, will be solved when installing the open gapps nano version?

2, when entering the documents and select disk / memory, the SD drive is normal but the internal storage tells me damaged, do you know how to fix this?

First I would like to thank Lysergic Acid for maintaining the i9100 on cm12 and cm13, great job! :)

Currently Android 6 is the sweet spot for me, anything newer on this device just crawls (v7 is just not usable for me), older has security and other issues.

After searching XDA I find it a bit strange that nobody still maintains builds for Android 6 on i9100. So I decided to just build it myself, if anyone is interested I have vanilla builds of Lineage13 at: i9100 dot sf dot net.

If for some reason I violate any rules etc, I'm sorry. Just wanted to share updated builds for people that still prefer this version.

Regards.

Lysergic thanks for your great Rom. It would be possible that you implement this Rom for the Galaxy S2 i777

Nice. Do you think Android 6 is faster on the S2, than android 7 ?
Does your rom allows for customization of the button and the display of the network activity in the status bar ?

I tried lineage-13.0-20171021-UNOFFICIAL-i9100.zip and I cannot install APKs from the sdcard.
The button ''install'' is greyed and I cannot click it. I activated root and ''external sources''..

At first I thought that it was a filter like LIVE Display, which I disabled and I could install some apks, but not all.
THen I clean wiped again and now even when Live Display is OFF, I cannot install any apk....

Before I clean wiped, I could install BBS, LTE discovery and titanium, but now titanium and BBS are greyed. but I can install LTE discovery.

So did you try it without any other app installed? Did you try it after rebooting into safe mode? You also could try another APK installer in the PlayStore. Did you enable unknown sources in security settings?

yes all of I did was on stock rom, no gapps. I just went to the sdcard and clicked on the local APKs I had.
The unknown sources were enabled and I did not try the safe mode since I do not know how to enable it

I think you have to long press power, then long press 'power off", now a dialog should appear asking for rebooting into safe mode. Then it reboots without any unnecessary services and other stuff.

Which ROM is better in common use - this CM 13, unofficial LineageOS 13 that was mentioned here (although I didn't find any thread dedicated to it), or DU 10.6?
Too subjective, you'd need to try them yourself.
Though definitely this build over any CM 'Unofficial' for sure IMO. Though it is not maintained since December 2016.
You'll find a link to the last nightly available in archives a few posts back.
Most development across Roms has moved to Nougat. You may find some Marshmallow devs/builders compiling for eg: latest security updates - but unless you really prefer MM, I'd say look to migrate to a Nougat Rom.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS
    • For complete installation instructions click here.
    • Root is now disabled by default on CyanogenMod 13. To enable it go to Settings>Developer Options>Root access and set to Apps only or Apps and ADB.
    • CyanogenMod 13 comes with Cyanogen Recovery by default, if you don't like it you can flash alternative recoveries using IsoRec.
    • If you get an error message when flashing GApps you're probably running out of space in your /system partition. It is recommended to have 1GB to fit the ROM and the GApps ( The stock partition table has 512mb for /system). This thread has a good guide for repartitioning and this one has a great tool for repartitioning without Odin.
    • If you're interested in BLN, check this thread for a complete support of this feature.

    TRIM

Very well, since there seems to be lot of demand for trim, I'll be merging @Lanchon patches on the official CM kernel. I think if anyone complain about it, he is able to provide me enough documentation on why trim is needed.
If something bad out of it happens, I'll kill all of you who asked for it ( and revert the patch :) )

    New build

I uploaded a new build with most of my progress on CM13. Internal sdcard doesn't work as expected, thanks Samsung for your weird partition table. SELinux is almost done, not a problem anymore. I'll be working on GPS today, seems to be easy to get it working, then I also need to update DRM stuff again and then we'll have all the basic hardware working.
I'm uploading mostly as a xmas gift to everyone as that's the best I can give for the moment :)

    New build

I uploaded a fresh build with updated CM sources and fixes everywhere. The ROM now looks like a proper ROM, but a lot of stuff is still broken of course. I guess now we can start to fix the bugs.
PS: Just realized I got the *Recognized Developer* title, very nice

Just as an information to everyone, new builds weren't released because we now have a libMali.so crash when waking up the device screen on CM13. It leads to a 2 sec black screen and then soft reboot. So it's not worth to release a new build, but I'm working hard to port M to this device, anyone following my gerrit changes is aware of that ;)
