Guys, I'm just sharing this topic to help maintain this ROM in our forum.

Code:
About

MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.

A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…

Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!

Changelog:
04.09
  • Do not reload in the recovery from the extended menu (turn off the phone and hold down the volume +/-, then press the power and release everything after the vibration).
  • If only the maximum frequencies are used, the CPU should be put on charge (preferably to the maximum) and restart the phone
  • In search of others

Glad to see this! Thanks a lot! :D One question only, this will be my first custom ROM to my Redmi 4 Prime... When you say: "All wipes" you mean all all? internal storage too? Sorry for that dumb question, but i'm new on this.

Regreats!

System, data, cache and dalvik for sure, never wipe internal storage unless you sure have microsd in its slot and you install rom from it

thanks a lot for the answer. Another noob question... do you prefer this Mokee ROM rather than MIUI 8.2? I'm undecided if change this last one or not. Is there any bug?

Thanks a lot in advance

I always prefer custom roms if available, my favorite is Slimrom (which sadly noy available cor R4P). Most current build of Mokee and LOS considered stable with minimal hiccups.

You can always do system backup in TWRP before you install this rom and restore if you find its not suitable for your taste.

I currently have installed mokee rom:
MK60.1-markw-20170403-UNOFFICIAL
can I flash this thread's mokee update on top of that without full wipe?

Okay, and is 0409 version have fixed lockscreen password? in 0403 version, if you set lockscreen password more than 8 letters long, the phone doesn't save it right and you can't log in at all, have to go to twrp and delete password file...

I use a pin and fingerprint, I do not use passwords and never checked it.

Ah, well now you know. I have test every password length from 4 to 13 letters... 4,5,6,7,8 work ok, 9,10+ the phone just tells you 'incorrect password' when you go to lockscreen, no matter what you try - i tested typing it in with letters cut off so it's 8 long, doesn't work. It just doesn't save it correctly at all. have to go to twrp and delete the password files in /data/system to remove lockscreen and log in again. So, this is something to fix for next version :good:

For me, this is not a priority, it will be time to try to find a solution.
Laos has such a problem?

You can, simply install from the recovery update and install the gapps afterwards.

Ok, I updated to 0409 today. It was kinda complicated (probably because of encryption). When I try to flash in twrp, it install halfway, then give error 7, /system in use or busy. I go to reboot, phone is just stuck on mi logo. After 2 more boots into twrp, I finally log in twrp without encrypt password, then do 'decrype data' from menu, and after that it let me flash it ok. Very strange. At least all my apps etc are still installed, didnt have to do anything but a few strange steps to flash the update :good:

BTW now that call recorder is included, can we get an option for all calls to be automatically recorded, like miui used to do? Or must we pick it manually for every single phonecall?
