I really do have serious issues.
I was able to flash the most updated ROM now, started pretty well.
But BT and WLAN do have serious troubles.
BT doesn´t work anyhow - no connection possible. And: As soon I enable BT, WLAN drops.

Question: How can I do a log?
No problem here with BT and wlan:

For log look for adb log or any logging app in Playstore... Screenshot_20170412-175127.png

Have you hade a clean install?

YES - at least it worked.
Made a new clean install (OMG) and now, BT is working. Again I lose WLAN time by time, when BT is on.
But will see how it develop. Tomorrow I will check the BT connection in car (phone and audio).
many thanks and best regards

@tribual : OK, after the complete new and clean install from formatted phone, the ROM runs well and the battery drain is good so far.
But still troubles with BT. Connection to my Android Wear sometimes works, sometimes not (and most worse, without any information). So it can´t be used for what it is about: alerting me in case of incoming message or call.
And: It shows the Android Wear (Asus Zenwatch 2) in the BT devices list - but nothing else. Not the car audio system, nor any bluetooth headset or receiver when in pairing mode.
Seems I need a little help with the adb log apps (I installed aLogcat), as I do not know how start/stop to get a full log. Seems if it´s in background (e.g. to enable bluetooth in settings) I lose all log information.
I am lost, as I especially chose AOKP because lack of BT functionality in stock ROM.

Hi.

Just for information:
My car audio system works flawless. Yesterday i heard about an hour music over bluetooth, without any circumstances. (Ford SYNC 1).

Regarding logs:
Just use syslog on playstore. It runs pretty well.

greetings
vsrookie

Edit:
Syslog is not an livelogcat. You do somethings that causes problems, then you take logcat. All informations should be in the log. Be sure to scrub personal informations.

BT Issue

@tribual
Still no change. I followed your suggestion and installed CatLog as well as SysLog - just to be sure.
I am an amateur only, but found some lines with Bluetooth information and errors.
Hope you can find more helpful information in it. Possibly it is only a failure made during installation of the ROM or whatever...
Seems it runs perfect and smooth on other devices.. but with me, absolutely nothing.
Connected once to the Android Wear - but not any more.
Other BT devices in pairing mode aren´t shown in the list.

Any information, any hint or idea is appreciated!

best regards

Dietmar

OK - did another full clean install, without the nightly as first installation.
Deleted, formatted - whatever is possible.

And yes, WLAN and BT worked for a while.
My Android Wear Asus Zenwatch 2 is connected - for now.
I tried three different BT receivers, incl. Headset, Headphone and BT Box.

But seems only a temporary success!
It worked for one time (connection) each only.
Now, they aren´t shown in the BT device overview any more.

No idea why.

Seems to be a special issue with my device.

As BT was the main reason for me to switch to AOKP - and it is not working as expected, I am not sure what to do.
Might be, I need to (again) switch to Eragon ROM. Worked well with WLAN and BT.

Many thanks for your help, support and all your work.

Nice Rom !
How can i remove the Rom Control, because i will use Xposed+Gravity or is there no problem using both?
ROMControl can't be removed. Its compiled with the rom. But for sure you can try xposed and gravity, should work i think. Just try and report here...

Hm. Curious!

Only thing could be is that last nightly is broken somehow...

Test this build and report back:

gapps must be micro? i wiped all (but internal storage) & last rom build + gapps nano : after dalvik cache generation's complete, phone immediatly reboot, and does this over and over.. i'll try with micro now, but nano vs micro.. there's no essential difference, weird!

---------- Post added at 16:40 ---------- Previous post was at 16:22 ----------

I noticed on the nightly page there is also a recovery img for each build, what's this recovery exactly? Does it support data decryption?

---------- Post added at 17:26 ---------- Previous post was at 16:40 ----------

I updated to last twrp & installation took longer. I waited and........

It is the same! I flashed 12th OTA + last micro gapps. Dunno what to do..?

---------- Post added at 17:31 ---------- Previous post was at 17:26 ----------

Am i supposed to have specific rom installed before installing this..?

You can use every gapps version you want.

Just flash latest mm stock ROM with spflashtool and with newest twrp. Reboot to stock ROM, reboot to twrp, install aokp as described and you're good to go.

The recovery on aokp site automatically builds every time ROM gets build. It's very similar to cwm recovery and must not be used. I personally prefer twrp.

Sound's not perfect, it seems to be waking from sleep.. perhaps rodriguo's patch will help?

I noticed live lock screen only have "colors", should have clock, pictures & news too (app installed)..

Pictures taken in dark area's tend to be more green with flash on ( probably caused by the second more yellow flash) changing settings won't solve this. Also when opening WhatsApp video folder in gallery stops loading and showing thumbnails. When I go back to the home screen of the gallery, all thumbnails are gone. I have to force stop the gallery to see the thumbnails again. This problem also occurs on lineage os and had this problem before on my other phone on cm based ROMs. It could be some kind of video extension that is causing this problem.
