Hello tribual,
First of all, thank you for your implication on the AOKP development and maintaining of the ROM for our beloved P9000.
It's very kind of you.
I'm currently testing your ROM (aokp_p9000_mm_nightly_2017-05-19_ota.zip) and I admit it's working quite good.
I really appreciate the DPI level set by default that gives a clear view of the screen and shows us that it has a very accurate resolution.
The battery drain seems well managed as I have a very good battery stamina!
The compass has surprised me for its accuracy, as I thought the one in the P9000 was definitely a flawed designed one, but thanks to your work, I am convinced that it's just related to a bad SW development from the ROM compiler partner of ELEPHONE company....
I have almost the same bug list as MaStErB_1984 said in his post.
I'll add that there's no way to calibrate Gravity/Accelerometer and Gyroscope sensors with your ROM.
I already tried with other ROM and a lot of third party application, but the only way to make it work, is by using MTK Engineer mode in an Android 6.0 based Stock ROM!
If you have any clue to do it properly in AOKP ROM, I'll be glad to follow your advices.
Another good point of this AOKP release, is the GPS driving accuracy.
I think that your compass fix is linked to that.
But I don't think the AGPS function is working properly as I don't see the GPS receiver fixing faster after an update of the AGPS data in cold restart mode.
I think your ROM has a very big potential, so I'll continue testing it.
Just for my information, it seems AOKP is based on Android M, but is there any plan to make it move to Android N?
I'll report back if I see other point.
I'll continue testing each of your release when available.
