yea I'm being told I'm on the wrong vendor as well. I could be wrong, but I don't believe the ROM base has been updated to latest aosp source? aosp is up to *****Z, while in about phone, it says the system is MOB30R. the vendor we're supposed to be flashing for July is MTC19X.. i could be wrong but wouldn't the xosp base need to be updated to R45 or R52 to remedy all of these issues?

This is Cm based so it I don't think they use Aosp source.
However the latest 7-16 build does use '19x' vendor and is running great.

7-16 build fixed this error.

After a clean flash of the new update wifi don't work, can't find any network.

7-16 build fixed this error. WiFi is remarkable for me. Switch your Apn from Smattrac/Verizon to Verizon Internet (this is the Apn every other ROM uses). The turn off/on mobile data. You should have 4g now.

If I come from 19X, which vendor do I have to flash to flash this rom?

Been having issues with camera and internal storage due something being left off from previous roms... better confirm before I move on.

Album and camera, works great now. No fcs.!!

@drbveb88 so there's no extra flash needed when coming from 19X right? :)

Many thanks!
These were my steps...

Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik. X2

Flash vendor X
Flash xosp rom
Flash Banks Apps
Flash Xosp Sony apps
Flash Viper/Dolby mod
Reboot

(after setup and testing, switched to Kylo kernel, I need high brightness mode.)

I am having same issues as above.
I also cannot get 4g only 3g or none.. Network says disconnected when I clearly have it on.

I also switched the APNs and same network issues.

I'm on the latest vendor and don't have any of these issues mentioned. Its possible though the build fingerprint commit I did didn't make it into the last build so it shows the old vendor instead of the new one in settings. I'll see if we can get another build up that might fix this for you guys.

Good Rom for a daily driver....
.Viper4Android doesnt install and crashes on the message to install audio driver...any workaround?
Music Visualizer is not ported....can you please port it?
Thank you and good luck to all devs
You can go here to get Viper and Sound mods.

Exodus is out of beta.
Levictus (check Spelling) is still in testing phase.

Unfortunately Pulse is not included but the music visualizer does work.on the lockscreen.

The latest Build 7-22-16 is running Great. Bluetooth Fix has been committed and seems to have fixed it. I haven't had a single glitch or skip since yesterday.
Great Work Dev!!!!!!!

Went on the download site and it's very confusing to find the XOSP apps.

Shouldn't be that confusing to find, just click on the latest xosp apps and it'll take you to this page

http://downloads.xosp.org/dlfile.php?s=a&&v=dl&&x_p_n=XOSPApps-Universal-6.3-16-07-2016.zip

Also I've started work on a custom kernel which will be included in the next official build. For now I've compiled a build with it in case anybody is interested in trying

This is a pretty sweet Rom. Having one issue can't get Snapchat to work. Doesn't let me log in. Other than that rom is really nice.

Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

That's an issue with Snapchat's Root/Xposed detection. You need to full unroot, remove xposed (if you have it), then login to Snapchat. If you have an old backup then restore that

    • What is XOSP and how was it born?
      • XOSP stands for the Xperia Open Source Project. The project was initially created by me @nilac) for the Galaxy S+ (my old device) years ago. Back then the ROM was called S+ Reborn. The vision was to create a minimal bloat free ROM which included Sony Xperia specific apps and various tweaks users would expect from a custom ROM.
S+ Reborn became a success and was eventually ported to different devices so from there I rebranded and XOSP project was founded. I worked on the project for 2 years always trying to improve it. Eventually, Because of the fact Lollipop was buggy on my Galaxy S+ (Which I maintained xosp for at the time) I decided to take a break from development until I got my hands on the zenfone 2 which from there xosp development has continued ever since.
