This boot.img is not fixing the otg problem, so I restored back my original boot.img. I'm using stick mount to mount my usb drive and the drive is accessible only through ES file explorer, cm explorer nd htc file manager is not detecting. TWRP and mx player are detecting them. When I plug in my otg, a notification appears that corrupted usb drive detected nd needs to be formatted, so when I try to format, it shows errors nd fails. Can u plz tell me how can I format the otg using the terminal app of cm ROM
I was afraid of that.
I wouldn't format it in terminal, I'd try formatting it in twrp since it sees the drive OK. If cm still won't automatically mount the drive after that, there's a more hidden problem.
Twrp has a different kernel and rootfs than cm13, that's probably why it can read the drive while cm can't.
You could pastebin dmesg after cm fails to mount the drive, and after it fails to format the drive, if you want, more clues there

backup your cm install in recovery
use stock rom: settings, software updates, update profile and update prl
once 4g works on stock restore cm in recovery.
Dial *#*#4636#*#* then change preferred network to 4g

battery issue in cm13 during sleep (idle) time

if you put it in airplane mode overnight it won't drain much at all. cell radio and WiFi drink battery juice.
gapps also drink battery.
working on cm14 but it's ornery.
not yet but better odds getting cm14 working than pure aosp. I'd like pure aosp better myself but haven't nailed down all the source changes needed to build more than a generic version without hardware drivers.
it'd help if my pc didn't keep shutting down during building from a weak power supply. i can probably afford to replace it by March or so... if lucky sooner. but building any rom is slow going right now, much less debugging.
ot for thread though, cm14 questions should go in cm14 thread.

1) I need the bestest "stable" rom for my 'a5dwg'. [I know cm is the best but for my model, it is in nightly status]
2) I don't know why my phone's imei number has changed by restoring someone's twrp backup, i dont know how to fix it.
3) The main problem is charging issue. Since 1 month, my phone is charging very slowly, that slow that even i charge it for 7-8 hours (while sleeping), it got charged only 60%-65%.
4) Can i get stock Marshmallow OTA zip file for my htc d816d (a5_dwg) ?
This would greatly help me.
(The story below is very long one, I'm saying it in few words)
I cannot get it while i update my phone (in downloads folder)
So please either give me mm ota zip or tell me how can i retrieve that!

I think you'll have to use phone service tools like qpst or dfs to change imei, dunno how that got messed up with just twrp.@bigsupersquid Brother, I'm in hard time now. :crying:

For ruu try Google search "htc desire 816d a5dwg " plus your carrier to see if htc official exe is available. Think i saw the 816d mm zip floating around the 816 device forums here too but don't remember which one (general, development, q&a)
My battery charging varies.
Sometimes i have to turn it off completely to get it to charge and then it'll take overnight to do it. A bad cable or banged up micro usb port can cause problems too. I've had good luck with a micro usb magnetic cable from wish, just took a month to receive it.
If you have stock lollipop, you should be able to use it to update to stock mm... The update zip will end up in /cache rather than downloads folder.
That's about all I've got.

Cm13 is the best custom rom available right now for A5DWG, I don't know who said this that the rom is full of bugs. I'm using it nd the rom is just awesome.
For that IMEI issue follow @bigsupersquid's words, I dnt know much about that, u can try with an imei changer app.
For sound issues download xtreme music mod 7.9 from xda nd for Camera issues use my port.
For battery issues use greenify

For the stock rom issue, first try to change your imei to original one using imei changer, now flash a stock twrp backup, flash stock recovery, relock your bootloader. Now your phone will be totally stock with stock rom, stock recovery and relocked bootloader. Factory reset everything, download stock a5dwg RUU from official htc website, flash it using computer nd then update to marshmallow again
