Call Bug

I have a bug in the call, when I start the phone works normally, but after some time on the audio of a call simply stop working (microphone and speaker). So it is possible to solve by resetting the unit. Does anyone have this problem? :good:

I have updated today to TWRP 3.0.0, Bootloader to XXUHPA1 and Radio to Modem_I9505XXUHPA1_Full. BT now restarts when crashing with cm-13.0-20160302-NIGHTLY-jfltexx. That is great.
WiFi vanishhes from time to time. Might have something to do with dozing. Doing from the rom. I have it deactivated on Greenify, no xPosed installed at all.

Trebuchet is looking very strange since Feb. 29th, i think: The icons are nearly half as big as they used to do. I have a matrix of 7x7, no names shown.
Please undo that change.

I updatet my nightly version to 2016-03-02 yesterday.
Everything works fine. Wifi problem during standby still exists, but thats not a big deal. No restarts so far.
Edit: Bluetooth activates itself and shows error messages when I deactivate it, sometimes I can't end calls, sometimes they are quiet.

About Trebuchet icons I couldn't not disagree more. I always hated how stupidly big those icons where, finally this oddity has been corrected.

after 2 months using this rom i just cant anymore

the wifi bug was fixxed for me, great

but the main issue is slow charging, it takes 6-8 h for 100% charge, come on, and yes i know this does not happen almost to anybody but i dont know what is the problem, using gpe 5.1 it charges fast on any charger

so goodbye cyano 13, ill miss you

oh, and also i cannot live without hdr pictures, and i am 100% sure, quality of pictures sucks compared to gpe 5.1

So weird, for me charges really fast, in fact my i9505 is the fastest I ever had, just an hour and it's done. These occasional bugs are the hardest to solve, sadly.

CM13 Call volume is too high on the "lowest" setting

Hey all. I'm running a CM13 derived ROM on my Galaxy S4, and the call volume is way too high--almost like speakerphone level where others can hear my conversations--and the setting is technically on the lowest volume setting in-call. No, the speakerphone button is not pressed.

any idea?

I think, i am not getting the proximity sensor to show the screen again since cm12 or just by chance. It is really annoying. I thought it was my faulty hardware...

Thanks for the support, pal... Seems to be a matter of taste then.
It was OK the way it was for how long? Why was it changed now?
Could we get an option for the icon size on trebuchet launcher maybe?

I also noticed once that audio was not working but after reboot it was not occurred again.

Did you try to calibrate proximity sensor manually or with this app? http: //play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vrognaas.proximityfix
This fixed problem with black screen during call for me. It was really annoying that I was not able to end a call and needed to wait until other person ended the call.

There is also interesting "bug" in 20160224 nightly that in default camera application there isn't available 10 Mpix 16:9 resolution mode. There are just 12.8 Mpix 4:3 or 8 Mbit 4:3. Biggest 16:9 resolution which I was always use and I think it was default in Samsung stock firmware is now just missing and I need to use different camera app like "Open Camera".

Also sometimes camera is not accessible for camera application which can be considered also as bug. Sometimes it will be accessible after few application restarts and switching or also phone restart helps. But it is still usable.

Well nice for you that you have good vision.

Now, can the rest of us get the stupidly big icons so we can use our phones?

I have seen the code and it seems the following line is wrong:

Code:
maxHeight -= (hotseatBarHeightPx + searchBarSpaceHeightPx);

I don't have the search bar visible, so why include it in the calc of max height?

Also, what's the hot seat bar?

Thanks!

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>

    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
     *
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

    Been a little busy with school this past week, but I finally had time to sit down and work on N today.
    Several hardware functions work fine, while some others (camera and RIL are broken).

    for the curious and the brave

    cm 14 initial download link:
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9qb8cB5djMoQm9PR1NsVHZDWVU/view?usp=sharing

    installation notes:
    i recommend doing a clean flash with android 7.0 opengapps. (hence, curious and the brave)
    as the database upgrade path from 6.0 -> 7.0 isn't established yet, many apps will crash if you do a dirty flash.

    release notes:
    most hardware functions should work, but there may have been some things i missed out.
    i'll upload a new cm 14 thread when the source is actually cm-esque, not merely aosp + caf + some cm additions.
    that said, we are almost as caf as we can get atm, with several key repos being merged with those from caf.
    we only needed minimal hacks to bring this up to cm 14.

    usage notes:
    don't panic when you see red borders flashing, it is expected since strict mode is enabled in this eng build.

    now, time to get back to working on issues in cm 13. peace :]

    Edit: I got CM file manager and Snap camera working. Several apps like Calendar and DeskClock are also now updated with CAF + CM patches from cm 13.0.

    All audio and Bluetooth ****ery will be fixed very soon. Final changes/fixes are being confirmed.

    Big thanks to arco as he did 99.99% of the porting work for the new audio HAL for msm8960 devices, including our device.

    Along with these changes, some fixes and stability improvements for the camera are incoming.
