Hi there,

first of all congratulations to the devs for this great rom, definetely one of the most solid piece of software for our OPO.
Just wanted to check whether there are some solutions for a couple of annoyances I have encountered in the latest stable DU 10.1

System-wise animations are way slower than in the previous 10.0, also using Nova Launcher and setting scrolling cache to "force enable". It's nothing unbereable but still the look and feel of this ROM is not as snappy as it used to be.
Most importantly, I have noticed a poor reception and significant drops in signal using 10.1. Anyone else noticed it and has a solution for this?
I believe, we need clean flash if updating from 10 to 10.1
I didnt face any laggy btw, of course, i hv so many time to do clean flash :D

Did u clean flash?

Of course I did!
The lags were resolved with the solution indicated by @gyakusetsu1215 in the previous post.

Also, I am using the latest TWRP 3.0.2-0, anyone knows if I will be able to decrypt data partition running DU10.1 and the previously mentioned recovery?

Can someone check if the latest weekly (DU_bacon_6.0.1_20160416-0037.v10.1-WEEKLIES.zip) is corrupted? unable to flash here, downloaded two times now. Getting Error 6 while dirty flashing and also while clean flashing, I 'm on TWRP 3.0.2-0.
Don't flash it as has been discussed on the previous pages.
It has got some problems in the updater script I think
You can flash the latest test build or you can wait till Friday for next weekly release.

Recovery log showed some line errors so compared the updater.script with 8th April weekly, replaced it whole except the system verification lines.
Flashed successfully :good:

One of the most stable roms for our beloved OPO.. Have been running the last official build flawlessly from past two days.. Everything works as it is intended to.. I just have one minor issue.. Reboot from power menu causes my phone to go in a bootloop.. I have to manually switch off the phone by long pressing the power button and then turning it on again.. Its not something major and I can live with that.. Still, any help would be appreciated.. Also, what's the battery backup you guys are getting.. I am getting somewhere between 2.5-3 hours SOT.. Any kernels, kernel profiles or other tweaks to maximize the battery..??

Reboot from power menu works fine for me on weekly from 8th April.
Without being connected to WiFi I get around 3.5-4hrs of SOT time, with WiFi about 5-6 hrs. Stock kernel with stock settings, just greenify to improve battery life a bit.

Im experiencing a problem with camera I have Google camera and it's crashing all the time I'm getting report that it can't connect to the camera or camera has unfortunately stopped. I wasn't using camera much but I don't remember any issues before.

This may be a CM or qualcomm thing but I'm having an issue with the snap camera in the rom. When I set the camera to HDR and take a photo nothing happens, the screen blinks as usual and thats it. There is no new photo in the gallery preview next to the shutter button and when I click on the gallery preview the camera just freezes. It stops focusing and doesn't go to the photo. When I exit the camera and go to the gallery there is no new photo. I'll try to get a logcat later. First I've tried this is with the 04.17 test build.

Anyone else experience this? Try it, let us know.

Thanks

Are you using any theme?
No such behavior like that under same rom version!

Even I faced this problem. After a reboot Google camera works for sometime before the problem starts again. This was also there on 10.0.
