Hi, I installed a stock MM rom, then reboot recovery, factory reset, and install MIUI8v2, then reboot. At MI account, tap on Ignore, then "MI Cloud" FC systematically.
Reboot recovery then install GApps fixed, then Magisk v14, then reboot. At region selection, "Settings" FC.
Installing a MM rom before don't change anything. I've always MI Cloud or Settings FCs. Very frustrating :/

Twrp is asking password for decrypting data after flashing this rom.(Didn’t have any pass set previously)
Unable to mount storage or restore my backup. Don’t want to format and lose data
Any solutions?
Currently on latest twrp

    Please take note that although this ROM is based on the stock ROM, you will get a MIUI experience instead of an AOSP one.

    How to install

    If your LTE is not working, try *#*#4636#*#* or add your LTE APN in settings.

    Yeah, I kinda left XDA... Life and drama...

    I've been developing for over 5 years now. I came up in the froyo days. I'm pretty much a good guy unless provoked. My current project is on hold since our lead dev is dealing with some minor health issues, and once I saw MIUI was booting on N6, I just couldn't resist the urge to help out. A lot has changed since I last worked with MIUI, but I'm now up to date and am working out the kinks as we speak. I even have it booting now. Working on completely fixing the play services fc. Once I got that worked out, and the op of this thread answers me back, we should be able to move forward. I'm not trying to hijack his thread or take over his hard work.

    A lot of my work is listed in my signature. What I'm most known for are my LightningZap! kernels. Check it out if you wish...

    First of all, works on MultiROM. Global MIUI verision (Yay!)
    Whats Working:
    -LTE
    -Camera
    -Sound
    -WiFi
    -Bluetooth (Turns on, detect devices)
    -Location
    -Compass
    -Browser
    -Phone


    Not Working or buggy
    -Play Services FC (Google stuff is broken I think)
    -Navbar white on certain apps
    -Extrange DPI, but looks nice anyways.
    -Themes App FC

    Is very good to see MIUI on this device. Is quite stable for an Alpha version, but for the moment is not for daily use, at least until we see Google FC fix.

    Thanks for your effort, and keep going! I'm gonna test all the incoming version. Keep my Nexus 6 as daily phone if MIUI is stable enought.

    Nice to see Miui port for nexus 6.
    Was playing with theme manager And it fixed.


    Replace the theme manager apk using root expo and set permission accordingly.
    P.s download the apk from attached files.

    ROM is debloated. Gapps minimal is baked in. Needs userinit hack mentioned earlier to rid of all FC's. Thememanager is fixed. Needs phh superuser apk from playstore to activate root. May need selinux permissive to get Arise/V4A working. Good luck
