Team Exodus brings you EXODUS Rom, coded by professional level developers with additional support from the community, focusing on improved versions of common features and improvements found in the open-source community while bringing new, original improvements and coding with the highest standards.

INSTALLATION:
  • Take necessary backups
  • Be rooted w/ a custom recovery
  • Download EXODUS Rom & Gapps for your device and move them to your phone
  • Reboot to Recovery
  • Wipe (full wipe if coming from another Rom)**
  • Flash the Rom
  • Flash the Gapps**
  • Reboot to System
  • Setup and Reboot System
These directions are not necessary after the first install if you use the Exodus Updater, included in the ROM. It can notify you of updates, download, and install them for you automatically.

**This is automated if coming from a previous Exodus build (Dirty Flashing).

We recommend using our stock (preinstalled) kernel for best results and usage of all features!

How do I enable Root? I went to developer settings but its not there. Thank you!
@Ltilt2 - Same thing happened to me. Steps I took to resolve and it's ultimately working:

1. On initial install I skipped the Root Install option from TWRP after installation and prior to 1st boot
2. My apps that require root weren't able to gain root, no option would pop up
3. Installed SuperSU from Play Store
4. Received message that the proper binaries weren't installed so it couldn't gain root
5. Rebooted to TWRP
6. Immediately reboot to get message from TWRP asking to root device. Swiped to allow.
7. Boot into bootloop.
8. Back to recovery, reinstall ROM and GApps, now root works...

Weird.

Ok.. So for root issue

All you need to do is:
When u install fresh ROM for first time, dont swipe for root if twrp says there is no root.. Don't worry..
Boot up.. Setup ur rom.. If it has no root don't get panic.
Now go back to twrp by manual hardware keys.. Clear cache and delvik only and flash rom zip again without gapps. You will have root now.

It has been tetsed and verified by my friends, and by dev too.

Please provide more feedback guys. About battery life. And it would be too good if anyone make a comparison between cm13 and exodus
No comparison between these. Exodus is AOSP with RRO Layers other is CM with CMTE.
Its like two opposite directions.

D850. Clean install.
No root issues.
Looking forward to 'back to kill' button and circular battery icon.

Unable to connect to my 5g wifi. Hangs while trying to get an IP. Still troubleshooting.

All in all, it's what I would expect from this team. Well done. Thank you all.

Edit:
found the exodus settings menu when I accidentally clicked on the triple dash icon in system menu (top right). So, the button and the battery icon are fixed.

It appears I can connect to 2.4g wifi, but not 5g. Not a stress point for me at this time.

Edit 2:
Rebooted router, now d850 can connect to my wifi. It was the only device that couldn't connect until after the reboot.
- no issues with GPS. My millage tracker works as expected.
- sound is a bit quiet overall.
- I like it.

Back to kill is available in nav bar settings, circle battery is an option in status bar settings. I'm connected to my 5ghz wifi right now. Maybe you're having "authentication issues.."
