New Build is out! It includes the apn changes I mentioned few days ago. Please test them with a clean installation.

Cell connects, but data keeps switching between roaming and not connected. I can't switch it off of "global".
I can get into *#*#4636#*#* but only after a reboot. It will not change to lte/cdma auto. It sticks to only lte/gsm

Logcat
http://pastebin.com/W7LNFeNg

Radio
http://pastebin.com/fDsbpwns

The logcat and radio were after a reboot. After that reboot, it wouldn't connect to cell or data. It would just stick to lte/gsm

I had the same results.

I ended up having to roll back to the Dec 24th build. On the Jan 5th build I started getting random reboots, and after a few days got stuck in a boot loop. I tried everything including wiping everything including system, but even with a completely fresh install of the Jan 5th build I was stuck in a boot loop. I could get as far as the initial setup, but as soon as I'd start entering info it would crash, and put me back in the loop. Rolling back to the previous build got me back up, and running again.

Interestingly I had the exact same problem on the Moto soak test when I went from version 3 to version 5. My phone didn't like version 5, and was giving me the same boot loop issue.

I suppose for now I will just have to stay on the 12/24 build. I've never had a phone give me this kind of issue before, but this one has now done it on two ROMs. Very peculiar indeed.

New build available. It fixes HDR on stock CM camera which has been replaced with Snapdragon Camera. It also automatically replaces the apn list for Virgin Mobile variant during the installation (a test with a clean installation would be better to confirm if this way is working fine). @jackk11111 Static IP is fine here, I also can ping my phone without issues.

It connected to cell and lte for half a second and then disconnected. It still wants to default to lte/gsm. If I change it to lte/cdma, it immediately switches back.

Now if I turn off the radio and switch it to lte/cdma and then turn the radio back on, it connects again for half a second and then Does exactly what the last build did. Keeps connecting, roam, and then disconnect and repeat. I'm going to dive into the rom and see if I can find a fix.

I got it to connect correctly with just build.prop edits. from the virgin mobile apn fix. Unfortunately virgin mobile is being picky.

Use as a .sh file an call it in updater-script after you set permision chmod 0755

Edit: I also noticed you turned on roaming. Is this necessary?

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Latest few nighties, minimum cpu reverts to 800Mhz after device sleep, even with different kernel. We had a similar issue of stuck at minimum 960Mhz a few weeks back. So it looks like the problem has returned.

Can confirm this. @Alberto97 not gonna bother you on jira again ;)
It happens since 20160826, where was implemented a new custom powerHAL. Ive also tested it with stock kernel/clean flash and with squids kernel. (i think it was stuck at 800mhz with balanced battery mode and 400mhz with battery saving/efficiency..as far as i remember but i reverted back)

That's how the new PowerHAL is supposed to work.
Anyway I've got Nougat booting few minutes ago. Bluetooth is the only working feature.

We are official (lux, osprey and surnia at the same time)! First cm-13.0 build will come tomorrow.
Now, about touchscreen issues. I'm attaching a zip which flashes older synaptics firmware, it comes from 6.0 retus / most of latest Lollipop firmwares; this should fix touchscreen issues. restore_synaptics restores the previous synaptics firmware.
Both zips should work without issues even on stock + TWRP

A new build is out. Custom kernels need an update due to some WLAN changes (see the second post) so you can't install them for now else you'll lose the WiFi functionality. About CDMA Virgin Mobile, I've made some changes to the apn list, please report if everything is fine out of the box now :)

Just another thing, we're doing a common device tree for Moto E 2015 LTE (surnia), Moto X Play (lux) and for our Moto G 2015 (osprey) so official builds won't come before this unification. You can follow our work here.
