because his original kernel is not good? where there are substantial differences with the other kernel

I'm not saying that the original kernel is not good, I just flashed optimus right away:) Optimus has more features, but in the time I used the original kernel I didn't experience any lags or such so it comes down to personal preference I guess;)

For those of you reporting issues or bugs:

Just a reminder, your issues cannot be accessed if you do not attach a log. Many times your problem will be ignored without a log. So please attach one for your own benefit. Thanks

I also felt like slow Wifi after I installed CM yesterday. I don't know if it's linked, but I disabled IPV6 on my router/box and I don't have slow Wifi anymore.
Edit: well it' works well today with IPV6. I guess it was just slow Internet yesterday.

Next step I would say is wiping internal data and SD card (after saving all important files)

Did that. Reformatted partitions too. I started completely fresh multiple times, and have tried different gapp packages.

@Selmak : And try using 'fix contexts' option under advanced settings in twrp.

That I haven't tried. I don't even know what that is, but will certainly try it next time. For the next couple of weeks I'll probably leave well enough alone though as I just did a fresh install of the Dec 24th stable build this past weekend. Honestly I'd stay on this build permanently, but Bluetooth is spotty with it.

What you mean ? Are you waiting for a special feature or fix ? The last build was on 5 March !

I didn't mean this specific ROM. It just seems that, in general, things have slowed a little bit. CM12 is all but dead (justifiably, of course), the TWRP thread is dead, Squid's kernel thread is dead, etc. The rest of the ROMs are either CM spin-offs or stock bugs/feedback.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Latest few nighties, minimum cpu reverts to 800Mhz after device sleep, even with different kernel. We had a similar issue of stuck at minimum 960Mhz a few weeks back. So it looks like the problem has returned.

Can confirm this. @Alberto97 not gonna bother you on jira again ;)
It happens since 20160826, where was implemented a new custom powerHAL. Ive also tested it with stock kernel/clean flash and with squids kernel. (i think it was stuck at 800mhz with balanced battery mode and 400mhz with battery saving/efficiency..as far as i remember but i reverted back)

That's how the new PowerHAL is supposed to work.
Anyway I've got Nougat booting few minutes ago. Bluetooth is the only working feature.

We are official (lux, osprey and surnia at the same time)! First cm-13.0 build will come tomorrow.
Now, about touchscreen issues. I'm attaching a zip which flashes older synaptics firmware, it comes from 6.0 retus / most of latest Lollipop firmwares; this should fix touchscreen issues. restore_synaptics restores the previous synaptics firmware.
Both zips should work without issues even on stock + TWRP

A new build is out. Custom kernels need an update due to some WLAN changes (see the second post) so you can't install them for now else you'll lose the WiFi functionality. About CDMA Virgin Mobile, I've made some changes to the apn list, please report if everything is fine out of the box now :)

Just another thing, we're doing a common device tree for Moto E 2015 LTE (surnia), Moto X Play (lux) and for our Moto G 2015 (osprey) so official builds won't come before this unification. You can follow our work here.
