No, I do not. Not sure if important, but I am not sure if I had it in my old rom. I'm about to go on a trip abroad, so it's the first time I need it.

Did you install Xposed?

If so, if you have /system/csc/feature.xml, delete it and reboot.

An Xposed module may be creating that file every time you open it. Wanam or Firefds module may cause that. If that's the case, try not to open it. But check again if lost or modules update.

I did not install xposed. I also checked if I have that file to be sure; I don't.

Sorry. Just a thought. I've seen that in Marshmallow, myself.

You may consider clean install or factory reset.

Edit: Did you flash the PG1 stock tar before this ROM? You weren't sure you had it on previous ROM? Was that stock PG1? I've seen csc issues in the past caused by not powering down prior to Odin of stock tar. Beware the reboot menu to download mode on that note.

Best to power down and pull battery when flashing stock tars and make sure it makes a brief stop in recovery of initial boot to update csc- it's very brief.

So I flashed my device with this and just got it activated through Sprint. Everything seems fine, except each time I boot the device, it keeps insisting on doing "hands free activation" which ends in updating the PLR. Calling and texting work fine, but I can't access mobile idea. Any thoughts?

I installed this ROM per the instructions, and I seem to be having a consistent problem with rebooting. Whenever I try to reboot, the screen goes black and never returns on its own. I have to pull the battery to get it to power back up.

Also, noticed that the power options are not always the same. Sometimes it has the stock options (power off, restart, airplane mode, etc), and sometimes it is the custom menu (Reboot, hot reboot, recover, download, etc). It is very inconsistent.

Anyone have any ideas on what is going on?

Older version. Newer versions starting with 86.1 have merged the alternate and main MM version. Use latest for MM unless otherwise noted in OP. Read changes in post # 2.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62377731&postcount=1

The older unofficial Wanam Xposed framework that supported Sprint Note 4 MM were in a separate alternative download folder.

I have a dilemma i am hoping yall can help with: something is wrong with my motherboard to where i can no longer Odin, i have replaced the jack, have odin'd many times before. I also cannot fast charge... after much research it just seems to come down to my motherboard being the cause of these usb issues. (Also my pc won't see my phone, have tried multiple pc's, multiple odins, and replaced my jack 2 times now).

I am on pd1 rooted, and need to get to pg1 via OTA... anyone have a twrp flashable pd1 stock rom i could use to accomplish this, or any other ideas?
I also had a ton of trouble with this. I ended up using a Windows 7 box, and it finally worked. I was trying on a Windows 8 and 10 box and I could never get the drivers to work. Try an older Windows box and see if that helps.

Just wanted to say thanks for this amazing rom!

I bought this phone used, replacing a dying s5. I've flashed almost every rom available and changed my base modem 2-3 times. I kept having serious problems, either with connections/hardware/etc.

Finally... Something that works, keeps root and has hot-spot!

Thank you... Simply amazing. I'm keeping the phone and I'm a very happy guy now.

Hello Everyone,
I have tried installing this ROM following the instructions as I understand them, and when I try to install the ROM from TWRP 3.0.2 I get an error 7, and the script stops. This is after 3 clears and 3 factory resets. I have the n910P sprint Note 4 device, and have the PG1 baseband and firmware from what I understand. I was on 5.1.1 prior to flashing the official PG1 firmware N910PVPU4DPG1_N910PSPT4DPG1_SPR.zip

Did I miss a step, or is there a compatibility problem with TWRP 3.0.2?

Thanks!

When you wipe system, TWRP leaves system partition mounted. You need to unmount system partition or go back to TWRP main menu>> reboot>>reboot recovery prior to flashing ROM.

You can also update TWRP with the official TWRP app from Google Play.

I love this ROM. I recently updated to QI5, but want to go back to PG1 and run this. When I use odin to flash PG1, I get an error "sw rev check fail [aboot] fused 5 > binary 4 galaxy note 4". I've read that its not possible to revert back, but Ive never had a problem in the past. Anybody know of a workaround?

The workaround would be to try the ROM without downgrading to PG1 stock tar.

Your bootloader upgraded; likely for security reasons, downgrade is not advised. I wouldn't attempt that which would mean no full tars or bootloaders below QI5 would flash in Odin. Attempting may activate factory reset protection.

There might still be compatibility with PG1; you can report back any issues but they wouldn't be supported.

FWIW, I'm running QI5 rooted with Beastmode r60 kernel and Xposed. Haven't confirmed any incompatibility but I did have a problem hearing a HD Voice conversation. At that time I was still setting up ROM after just flashing a sound mod and I've yet to have another rare HD voice call. Maybe there's a chance for compatibility with this ROM.

Welcome to: Stock PG1 Slimmed And Modified ROM

Hello everyone, the time has come to were most of us are looking for a Stock, de-bloated, slightly modified PG1 (MM) ROM. Well here it is! Took about a day to get together thanks to some friends who were kind enough to help me :) ( @tx_dbs_tx and @tdunham). Hope you guys enjoy!

Please Note: In order for this ROM to work correctly you must already be on N910PVPU4DPG1 (PG1) Baseband and firmware. If not please seek to the odin file or take the Sprint OTA to PG1.

    • Built From Pure N910PVPU4DPG1 Tarball
    • Stock PG1 Samsung Kernel
    • Rooted & Busy Boxed
    • De-Bloated
    • Its ON Removed
    • Knox Removed
    • Hotspot Hack
    • 5 Way Reboot
    • Proper SuperSU
    • No Sprint Bloat

Install: (See second post for downloads and changelogs)
    • Download

    • Factory Reset (x3)
    • Install Stock PG1 Rom
    • Wait About 10min To Boot
    • Enjoy :)

    After Install: (Recommended)
    • Initial boot will boot twice.
    • Please allow about 10 minutes to boot up after initial boot.
    • Recommended to wait up to five minutes on initial boot before doing anything, then do a full restart.
    • To get back Developer Options go in to Settings, About Phone and rapidly tap Build Number until it says your a developer.

    Important Notes:
    • To fix Netflix and Hulu issue please download Root Browser. Head to System --> Vendor --> Lib and find the file name "liboecyrto.so" and delete this file. Reboot and your good to go. I completely forgot about this file. Will have deleted in next update (If I need to make one for Stock)

I was on tx_dbs_tx MOAR v2.1 Ultimate note 5 hybrid for a long time and today was my first browsing xda in awhile when i came across this rom. I was on the last rom that tx_dbs_tx made was reading thru and saw tx_dbs_txand LMMT in the credits and was like Dude!!! I got to try this. I have never had any problems on any of tx's roms since his Hybrid-X lollipop 5.0 & 5.1 back in 2015. Downloaded the latest Odin from the Op, searched and downloaded the PG1 stock tar that LMMT put up at first I tried my original cord and noticed it was hanging in odin, i was even saying cmon cmon to the little green bar on my phone but it didnt want to move haha. i then tried a different cord and it loaded up quick in odin green bar did its thing on my phone rebooted when my phone powered up i noticed i was still on tx rom but i was now on PG1 6.0.1 and lost root? i then odined twrp downloaded this rom at work followed the op flashing instructions wiped everything 3x except external sd 10min boot time waited an extra 10min before going thru the setup then did a reboot there is a spot at work where my phone would switch to 3g but boooooiiiiiii i havent seen 3g since flashing this. I also updated prl and profile for kicks but its fast played on my phone till battery completely went and shut off now charging back to 100% and couldnt be happier with a fresh start and AWSOME rom. Thank You DEVS for all you do and keeping average joes like my feeling like christmas everytime i flash a rom.:good::good::good::good:
