Is it possible to set it to tablet mode myself or no

At the moment the rom is on phone mode. For multiuser etc. you have to set android to tablet mode.

Found 2 ways to switch, one via a setting in the BoardConfig and 1 via a hard system.prop setting. As the 1st should result in the 2nd, I'm using the 1st to see if that works.
Building. When this works I'll upload a patch for inclusion in the nightlies.

Nop, it's an option that has to be set during build.

EDIT: I've build an UNOFFICIAL beta with what I hope is the correct setting for tablet mode. Image boots, haven't tested it any other way. When someone feels like testing, I would love to know if this one is 'tablet' mode or not. Updated OP with a link to the location of the BETA images. (Most are tested, not all, milage may vary)

The T713 is snapdragin, not exynos, different base. I don't know if you can use the common we have, I guess not, as that one depends on the exynos libs.

Think about it this way. You build 2 computers, exact same, but one amd and one Intel. Same gpu. Don't you use the same video drivers? Yes. What I'm curious is whether this same logic applies here, because it's the same device with a different gpu/cpu.

As far as I've noticed, no. We noticed even major differences between the 810 and 710 in screen settings. The exynos chipset is cpu, gpu, i/o,... In one set. I think youn can copy HALs and some settings and rebuild the rest of the common tree, but not reuse.

For some reason I can't log into yahoo mail now with the stock email app. I downloaded the yahoo mail app from the play store to see if it was just the stock email app but I can't get even get to the log in screen on the yahoo app, it just sits with a white screen. I was having problems with my yahoo account using the stock email app ever since I switched to this ROM with certain contacts like a yahoo group I subscribed to, I was not able to open the email since I installed cm13 a couple weeks ago but it didn't bother me too bad but now I can't get any emails from my yahoo account. Ive done everything I can think of to get it to work but its a no go right now. I installed the 6/30 nightly last night so possibly something has broken.

I am able to use my gmail account through yesterday with no problems, I think its still working fine but won't know until I get another email, the sync is working so I think its OK.

Anyone else having problems with yahoo email on the stock app or with the yahoo app?

Viper4android is working for me as a system app with the ARISE RC8.1 zip http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/r-s-e-sound-systems-auditory-research-t3379709

Concerning the email problem I'm having .... now Yahoo mail will sync and show new email received but will not open it, idk what is the problem but I think I will try to flash the first nightly build and see if I can open the new email I just received. Maybe I've made too many adjustments too fast without rebooting, that might be part of the problem also.

I just got it working as non system app (wouldent work as system app) had to grab selenix mode changeer and set it to permissive

Greetings T_I, question, is it safe to use the cyanogenmods updates feature¿ and will it wipe twrp¿ I am still using 20160622 as it works really well except the lock screen doesn't rotate, is this fixed in the newest version¿ I really really appreciate you doing all this work, I was given the T810 as a gift and it is really cool being able to install cyanogen on it, thank you and blessings.

Should work (make a backup first ) and installation of recovery is a development setting. (default set to no) TWRP replacement depends on this setting.

I am still using 20160622 as it works really well except the lock screen doesn't rotate, is this fixed in the newest version¿

The rotation bug is fixed in the nightlies and the last unofficials. The 30-6 unofficial even has some extra patches that we're now testing before they get merged with the nightly builds.

I really really appreciate you doing all this work, I was given the T810 as a gift and it is really cool being able to install cyanogen on it, thank you and blessings.

Got the T810 as gift as well, from my wife. I wanted cm on a tab and didn't mind developing. It's fun, now I'm hunting for a 64 GB Moto G4 plus to start work on that one. (the device isn't obtainable via the official channels in The Netherlands, which gives another challenge)

I have kind of a a strange problem..... I downloaded and installed the latest nightly along with Gapps "pico" version. Everything was looking good so far. I powered down as you normally would and once powered down, I plugged in my charging cable. At that point the tablet began to power up and go directly into TWRP just by plugging the power cable in. No buttons pushed....

If I power down in TWRP the system will reboot into TWRP once again. If I leave the power cord disconnected everything will work as it should. So I restored my TWRP backup of the Samsung 6.01 that I made just before and everything works as it should with a power down and the cable connected.

Any idea what might be causing this?

My guess when you installed latest cm something in twrp got miss configured and when you re flashed twrp it fixed that issue best guess I could give you though not sure why that might happen I use update feature of cm and I use stock gapps but never had something like this happen

Update on my email issue...

I got busy yesterday and let my s2 sit until this morning when I tried the yahoo email app again and it magically started working. The stock email app is also working like it should. Same 6/30 build . It seems to have caught up and worked out the problem on its own.

I get the following access error - " access denied.... looks like you don't have permission to access this folder. Make sure you are signed in to an account that has permission, or check with the developer to request access. "

I was attempting to download your build that makes this ROM a true tablet build and not a phone ROM.

Well I thought it was a miss configured file in twrp that a re flash would fix perhaps it's a power setting in the build or something in twrp and the build interfering with each other

I would also like to report a bug maybe I dunno if it's just me but when using Internet applications and Bluetooth headphones the sound cuts in and out but when wifi is off it works great (its not headphones they work on stock 6.0.1 on my lg g4)

It looks like a wonderful phone for the price, I was hoping to get something like that in the next couple of months but I was looking at the Zenfone 3 Deluxe. Thanks for the reply T_I

I'm waiting for over a month for the phone to release overhere and I want the 64 Gb version, so I don;t have to replace the phone again in 2 years due to memory issues. Looks like in over here we won't get the option to order it via moto maker (only the X, way to expensive for the same specs), so we're limited to the 16 GB version with only white and black as options. (and regular or plus) I'm a tad disappointed, but have some in-laws in Germany. (order, ship it there and let them forward the phone)

The oneplus 3 is the only phone with better specs in the price range < 400 euro, but it's missing the sdcard slot I require. (Messing to much with the device to refrain from sdcard backups)

There was a 'lock screen rotate' bug, but that was the display rotating 90 degrees on locking. That one was fixed.
