You are right, it is written in the thread I linked also. My 2013 car stereo supports it and it is definitely worth a try in my opinion.
But as always, carefully read, before you flash something.

Sorry, I don't know because I did check it out directly with my car stereo.
I had just average sound quality and I noticed the difference immediately.
Maybe you should ask in the thread for the mod.

Maybe it's because i use Emotion-AOSP-MM-stable-RC8-SM-N910F_ZEROLEMON-and-PERMISSIVE kernel for my zerolemmon battery from Pafcholini
I think that this rom is based on this kernel. The zerolemmon kernel is the same with change for battery stats.
Mobspyguy can you confirm that you don't make any corrections / change on the kernel ?
Anyway i am going to wipe an reinstall without zerolemmon kernel, i'll tell you if it's better.

Yeah i want to keep xposed so i mean MM and this rom is perfect for me.
I'll try again with a full wipe installation and without xposed soon and with BL DPHB + CP DPB1
I tried to install this RR 5.7.0 on my smn910g running a 3.10.40 kernel but while installing it doesn't start wifi, any solutions welcome?
Hi try a different kernel it may help? My phone is N910F and I use emotion kernel and it's much smoother and no issue with WiFi.

What bootloader and modem are you on now? If the bootloader is Lollipop and you are trying to install a Marshmallow Rom then obviously you won't have WiFi. Why install 5.7.0 when there is 5.7.4 or even 5.8.3 on Android Nougat?
The way I flash was from the twrp after I reboot the ROM for the first time! If the SuperSU stops working after installing the kernel just delete it supersu and install from twrp also. I hope it helps you?

RR 5.8.3 with Emotion kernel. Make sure you're on latest bootloader and modem for our G variant, that's N910GDTS1DQG2_N910GDTU1DQD3
Can you talk me through how I ensure I'm on right bootloader and modem please?

After flashing this, make a clean install of the Rom of your choice:
Wipe Data, System, Cache and Dalvik Cache
Flash Rom, Gapps if you use them
Reboot
Wait 5 to 10 mins for the Rom to boot
That's it
Raven_999 I have followed your instructions but RR seems stuck on the Checking for updates stage, been there half an hour. Any suggestions?
I remember I had this problem too on some Roms. In the setup wizard try to go back a few steps, than forwards, if it won't help, remove the battery, put it back than try again.

From now on we'll have a new kernel. It is based on latest caf sources (apq8084) and SM-N910F_EUR_MM_Opensource.
I'm working on a custom kernel based on this-one (with sh*tlots of nice goodies), it's under testing for now.. soon I'll release it, not sure yet if together with the ROMs that I support or by it self with a different download (and thread).
