LineageOS / CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS / CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.


Important information:
This thread is for Unofficial LineageOS 13.0 builds for chagalllte (SM-T805). The following will not be supported here:

• Custom kernels
• Mods
• Xposed

I don't support Xposed and any logcat which includes a Xposed module will be ignored. You're kindly invited to not report bugs if you:

• Flashed a custom kernel
• Installed or did mods from untrusted sources
• Modified system files

Installation

First time flashing LineageOS 13.0 on your device, or coming from another ROM?
Download the zip(s)
Install a compatible Recovery
Make sure you are on the latest bootloader
Perform a nandroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe data/factory reset
Flash LineageOS
Install the Google Apps addon package (Optional)
Reboot

Known issues

• SElinux set to permissive
• No fingerprint (removed because of wakelock issue)

Addon SU
su binary is is not included anymore in the ROM, you have to flash it manually after
addon-su (choose (arm))

I will not be compiling builds for chagalllte as often as i do for klimtwifi and klimtlte because i do not own it. I have shared this build so others can use it if they want to. I will only release a build that have been tested and confirmed working by my testers so that may slow down builds even more. This is because i do not want to release builds that do not boot or have serious issues to the public.

The ROM doesn't recognize my SIM card. I intalled 2 times and used factory reset both times. The only thing I installed is the ROM + Open GApps. I need a ROM with a working SIM Card. I tried several ROMs in this forum but none of them (the ones that are not based on official Samsung bloat!) seem to recognize the SIM. Is this a known issue with custom ROMs? Or am I missing something?

I have no way of testing but @Nexorrr has working ril on this build.

My best guess would be is that you are using an older modem.

I used to install T805 roms on my T800. Any hope of doing this on this rom? Just tried on TWRP 3.0 and didn't have success.

Could you please help me? How can I update the modem? Should I install another official firmware before installing this? It's really confusing because I tried a lot of ROMs but none of them seem to recognize my SIM. It used to work before I switch to Lollipop CM ROM. Thanks.

Did you include fingerprint fix already merged and rolled out in S5 branch? It should work also for tab S because they use the same sensor.
