No luck, I tried flashing rom and installed maas360. Though I disabled privacy guard in dev options. It still shows my device is rooted. Flashed su and uninstalled completely still same.

It's strange that foreground apps like root checker doesn't detect root privileges. But it's lying somewhere hidden and undetected.

I can understand adding tweaks and customization without root is impossible in custom roms.. Thanks for the rom

I've been using it for last 2 days. Haven't encountered any major bugs so far except for notification light doesn't blink. It only works when I connect the phone to charger. Battery life is amazing btw. Yesterday I got almost 13hr SOT (with single sim, no 4G, WiFi on all the time). Oh one more weird thing I noticed about this ROM, in call volume is too loud.
