Lineageos is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Lineageos is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts.Lineageos does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

• Download the latest build and gapps
• Reboot to recovery
• Flash the latest build and gapps
• Reboot
• Reboot Once After Reaching Home Screen

It will be awesome if you merge/port all fixes of lineage 14.1 to lineage 13 ROM. (Actually. I didn't check till now, will check later)
Now it will be great if you build other ROM (aicp, aokp , RR, pac based on M).

Nice indeed.
MM based roms are known to be easier on the battery, without some of the bugs of N.
MIUI8 is one of them.
BlueReptile also tried a little with MM builds.

The same way the auto brightness works when light changes, but it increases and decreases brightness regardless of light changes.

i see. not a problem for me as i do not use autobrightness. Is it still a good rom even with bugs?

No it is not, it has the same bugs as the old CM roms had. Bugs such as this brightness issue, broken notification sound. I haven't tested it further. I went back to M8 after I heard the first cracking sound at notifications.
