off the coast o the kontiki!
Isn't SuperSU preinstalled as it reads in the description?

---------- Post added at 09:56 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:16 AM ----------

GPS, NFC, Camera, and Bluetooth all work with this ROM?

Second question, which GApps should one use, the Open GApps or BanksGapps? Is there a difference?
For me, i like SuperSU as opposed to the one that comes in most roms. That's why I always flash it. And if its already built into the rom then flashing it does no harm. And I haven't flashed this yet, but the person I replied to said it worked so..........

Like i said in another post, back in the day super user didn't always come in roms, so flashing it became a habit. I always have flashed it & always will

Flash SuperSU zip in recovery
Known issue on MM roms, it's just a visual thing you aren't really roaming if it is showing the LTE icon.
Yeah, I checked my account online and it said no roaming data was counted.

Does this have an unlocked hotspot?
Yes.

OK, so I really like this ROM. Fast, already installed tweeks and settings galore. HOTSPOT works, bluetooth works, Qi Charging works, GPS works. Issues I've come across: DOMESTIC ROAMING notification stays on (even though I am not roaming), Titanium Back Up and Root checker state that I am no longer rooted. But I'm still enjoying the ROM.

Lost root

Lost root with this ROM. Can't access TWRP recovery either. Tried to get help from the Turbo ROM G+ community and they "excommunicated me" from the group. I guess I asked too many questions in the Q&A section? Glad people here on XDA are little more helpful. Going to have to start from scratch and rebuild the phone. For those considering this ROM, it did work for one guy who posted in the G+ community with our phone (LS990).

Lesson learned

TWRP does not play nice with the "adoptable Storage" feature Android 6 offers. I converted my 128gb card to adoptable storage, and unbeknownst to me, your phone will convert the card to internal storage, but it will also ENCRYPT it. TWRP 3.0.0 can't recognize your card and it will freeze on the TEAMWIN screen when you try to boot into recovery. A word to the wise, DO NOT PICK "adoptable storage" option when inserting your storage card, cause things will go wonky! Keep your card as "Transportable Storage." Make your life easier and heed my warning. I had to pull the card from the phone and then reboot into recovery, it then allowed me to enter TWRP recovery. Took me hours to find this out.

Good grief, half of the posts in this thread are from you asking this or that. You had like 6 in a row! Ain't no maintainer got time for that.

I post asking questions no one answers. I post to see if I can save some hours figuring it out if someone can offer advice. That's fine if no one answers, I figure it out eventually and then post how I solved it to help others who are shamed to ask. If Yoshi feels I'm annoying, I'm sure he can block/ ban me from this thread.

I think you'r over-reacting to my comment. Just saying that's a lot of questions in separate posts, and you said you were already "excommunicated" from the G+ community for asking too many questions. There are so many answers to questions that can be found by searching yourself.

Meanwhile...

For whatever the reason, Banks Gapps didn't play nicely when flashing Turbo clean. No Gapps showed up on my device when I used Banks, and I tried a few times. Mini Open Gapps worked fine. Flashed SU and things seem to work very well. The three-finger swipe for screenshots is a nice option. Data, WiFi, BT, hotspot, etc. work nicely. I've bumped into a few FC's when kicking around Settings. I'll get a logcat if this becomes a problem. So far, very nice. A lot of options and very fast!

For network, what setting do you use to enable talk/text/data? Is it WCDMA/LTE?
