Flash it you won't be disappointed. Daily draiver for me for a month now.
1. Everything works
2. Ohh yeah
3. I don't know
Update:
So after downloading all my apps and fiddling around for quite a few hours, I'd like to report my experience here, and maybe also a few bugs. I'm not an android developer, but I'd like to help in any way I can.
Overall:
Works reasonably well on my OP3. Almost everything works and Xperia apps are totally worth it. Right now it's not as polished as OOS based ROM's like FreedomOS, but that's just because OOS has a much smaller feature set and was tested more thoroughly.
Good:
1. Xperia apps. My favourite media apps on Android. Period.
2. Based on CM13 means consistent experience, reasonably good performance and wide app/theme support.
3. XOSP settings adds a lot of tweaks not found on vanilla CM13, which is very nice.
Problems:
1. Root explorer does not work. Hangs after granting permission, never even got to ask for root privilege. I tried reinstalling to no avail.
2. Too many cellular network types. Most of time you need only set LTE, 4G, 3G and 2G, not TD-SCDMA/LTE/WCDMA/GSM/EvDo/CDMA, etc..
3. Phone unlocks in pocket. Which means the proximity check before unlocking is not working.
4. An odd icon glitch: in quick settings - mobile network, the '4G' part is too big and covers the signal bars. Not sure this is intended or not. Also setting 'replace LTE indicator with 4G' does not work.
5. No screen calibration options available (aka. enable sRGB).
6. Compared to Oxygen OS, auto-brightness is a bit slow (less sensitive?) and adjustment is not very smooth. I have to set brightness myself sometimes because the OS wouldn't. This seems to happen the most in relatively low light environment.
7. I get a 'com.qualcomm.qcrilmsgtunnel has stopped' on every boot. Not affecting anything as far as I can observe but it's there greeting me every time I restart the device.
8. Show weather on status bar/quick settings also not working it seems.
