In my opinion there should be a clear warning that bootloop is possible. I thought changing them is as safe as changing theme in cm. And I just told my opinion about this which is not meant to be offensive for you or anybody else. The troubleshoot I found was to go to /system/vendor and delete the files but I didn't have that folder. Maybe oneplus2 doesnt have it?. Also if you wanted to be that helpful person maybe let me know what layers are causing bootloop (as you seem to have some knowledge) instead of saying my attitude or language skills are bad...
there are and have always been cm themes that caused issues, including bootloops when cm made changes to the theme engine for example.
if such a warning is appropriate then on the "themes" thread or play site, certainly not on the rom thread because it has nothing to do with it.
themes have to adapt to roms and not vice versa.
further if you choose the correct procedure, which is to always keep a recent nandroid backup, it's a matter of 3-4 minutes to revert back and start evaluating/troubleshooting the problem. this is the rom thread and theme based issued belong to theme threads, be it on xda, google+ or wherever.
further as one can see there are very few issues with themes, hence it's not even a general issue but something very specific to your theme or the way you set it up.
the warning that bootloops can happen is in every OP by means of "brick is possible" and does not even have to be mentioned. it's a permanent
danger while flashing anything into system partition. root can cause bootloops, user errors can cause bootloops, apps can cause bootloops and build errors can cause bootloops as well as intermediate or general incompatibilities, in other words, everything, be prepared at all times.
and do your homework, you alone are responsible and if someone cannot live with the risk that comes with modding his/her device,
modding is not the right thing to do. seeking guilt and putting responsibility on other peoples shoulders is not the way to think and act.
