Super su is there.. File manager? In twrp? You should mount /system partition and you are good to go

Yes supersu should come with the ROM installation zip, at least what I saw in the log. And yes wiping system and reinstalling of course fixes the bootloop but that is so slow process just because of some layer change...

how bad was the drop? sometimes you cannot see any damage instantly but shows up after sometime. I lost my capacitive buttons after a drop, but after the drop the buttons were working fine but later after 2 weeks they stopped working. when I went to service center to have a repair they said it's a physical damage which had ofcourse due to the drop. so I assume you had a really bad drop.
No to bad. And some 10 days before camera stop working. This is the reason I initially was thinking that it was a ROM problem (I updated from 10/06 build)
But even in stock ROM front camera stop working. I try to obtain a log

Very nice rom but supersu didnt install with rom and Layers manager caused bootloop for my device after applying layers. Also didnt found system/vendor from filemanager to manual uninstall of layers so it was real struggle. I had to install supersu again to get it work, please fix.
better learn how to troubleshoot, layers work great, just because the ones you're using don't or the way you do it doesn't, does not mean it's a rom issue. fix your attitude, and/or language skills first, best jointly with the level of respect.

none of the issues you describe is a rom issue, whenever you have issues without the thread being full of it, you're well counseled to check your setup and perform proper troubleshooting steps, read and search before posting and then of course without the military approach

Hi @TheCrazyLex .. I wanted to share something after some testing. As u can see in the pic the cellular signal strength is very weak during the starting. Then my Tasker profile went on and switched to airplane mode then again went on in morning. Then the strength was good. The phone was kept at the same room during entire time but sometimes I get so poor strength. What I tired
1. Tried changing sim but it didn't help as suggested by Raja
2. Placed sim in my bacon and no issues were there
3. Tried with other number on same network operator placed in same room but still only drops I saw were on oneplus 2. Ni drops there in bacon.
4. Tried changing bands to 2g 3g instead of lte but still drops were only in oneplus 2

So after doing these things when I couldn't find solution I am reporting.
There are issues with signal strength Which has impact on the battery

In my opinion there should be a clear warning that bootloop is possible. I thought changing them is as safe as changing theme in cm. And I just told my opinion about this which is not meant to be offensive for you or anybody else. The troubleshoot I found was to go to /system/vendor and delete the files but I didn't have that folder. Maybe oneplus2 doesnt have it?. Also if you wanted to be that helpful person maybe let me know what layers are causing bootloop (as you seem to have some knowledge) instead of saying my attitude or language skills are bad...

That's normal. Battery should be still good.
Yeah no prob on that. You asked if someone could confirm on that device awake prob So I posted it that there is no such issue .. But cellular problem is there. And I tested it and this is prob with op2 only. Didn't test other roms because I use exodus only

there are and have always been cm themes that caused issues, including bootloops when cm made changes to the theme engine for example.
if such a warning is appropriate then on the "themes" thread or play site, certainly not on the rom thread because it has nothing to do with it.
themes have to adapt to roms and not vice versa.

further if you choose the correct procedure, which is to always keep a recent nandroid backup, it's a matter of 3-4 minutes to revert back and start evaluating/troubleshooting the problem. this is the rom thread and theme based issued belong to theme threads, be it on xda, google+ or wherever.
further as one can see there are very few issues with themes, hence it's not even a general issue but something very specific to your theme or the way you set it up.

the warning that bootloops can happen is in every OP by means of "brick is possible" and does not even have to be mentioned. it's a permanent
danger while flashing anything into system partition. root can cause bootloops, user errors can cause bootloops, apps can cause bootloops and build errors can cause bootloops as well as intermediate or general incompatibilities, in other words, everything, be prepared at all times.
and do your homework, you alone are responsible and if someone cannot live with the risk that comes with modding his/her device,
modding is not the right thing to do. seeking guilt and putting responsibility on other peoples shoulders is not the way to think and act.

The next step

Hey guys,
So it is that time of the day again.
Today a little bit earlier, my highlights for tomorrow's nightly:

- Reworked Powerconfig: Big Performance Boost, Battery is not negatively impacted, it may be even improved :)
- stock RIL blobs, may improve receiption
- fixed up memory control -> possible lag scenarios are resolved
- Linux Kernel (base) 3.10.101 -> 3.10.102
- slightly increased vibration strength (as per user wishes)

As you may have noticed by the changelog, I am always listening to you guys, even if I can't answer everything :)

Enjoy!

Edit: hope the question about the recovery not booting will decrease, I updated OP with clear instructions.

Alex

Have you checked why some of us get delayed messenger and whatsapp messages?
Started in the first half of may. I think it's because dozing.

Anti-magnamentis-reply infos: not titanium restored, clean flashed, excluded both from battery optimisation.

No offense, just joking :)))

Make sure you don't restore apps using Titanium Backup or something similar. Restoring apps will break notifications, use the built-in backup and restore of Whatsapp. Had the same problem and reinstalling the app solved this.

Also tried removing Whatsapp from battery saving?

don't worry i have good sense of humor and some kind of protection shield can be legit and useful :) (big smile, what an honor, to be "antied" is a form of recognition as well LOLLLLL!!

did you check permissions of those apps already? it's certainly doze related and whitelisting an app does NOT exclude it form doze,
only a limited number of parameters, while all radio related stuff and the general interval are not affected by whitelisting an app.

read what google has to say about it, (their explaining doze)

Phone and Location permissions were not enabled for both but they shouldn't make any difference in this case. Like excluding them from optimising, but did it because I had no more idea. :D

Both app should use GCM with high priority messages. Either Messenger or WhatsApp does not use it in my case (as default I highly doubt it), or rom is restricting also high-priority messages.

I did face similar problems when I had certain power saving apps like Aggressive Doze (Greenify), Amplify, Powernap. I'm running all stock now (without Xposed as BetterBatteryStats reported some wakelocks since Alex's optimizations were being overwritten).

Once I went stock, all problems were gone. Just a theory, don't know your exact setup.
