Have it as a TWRP backup just in-case something goes bad. Currently running RR 5.8.3 Nougat.
I've tried N RR but phone gets crazy hot. Not sure why. Even with clean install. And it's random, could go days without heating then out of blue when not really doing anything begins to get hot. Strange.

This is RR 5.74, which is based off marshmellow, 6.0.1. That module is for android 7.1.2 nougat, so its incompatible. This rom already has fill support for xposed v87 arm

You don't know exactly what is causing the problem. I told him all the steps that i did when that problem occurred to me. A simple reboot doesn't always help.
it also could be a kernel issue. Most of the custom kernels are compiled with the latest source which aren't always backward compatible with older rom versions. I mention this due to the fact there have been lots of issues with custom kernels breaking camera functionality lately and no one mention if there was a custom kernel involved in the situation stated above

Hi Guys,
When listening music through wired headset, volume controls which acts as to change next track and previous track is not working. I am having three button Samsung headset. Third button which acts as Pause and play is working perfectly fine.

Check settings/Configurations/buttons/Playback Control. I'm on the N version of this rom so the exact location may be slightly different but this should point you in the general direction.
I might retry making this ROM work, just need to figure out the crashing issues, didn't make sense to me

Installation Instructions
- Download the latest build of Resurrection ROM
- Download Gapps
- Take a nandroid backup
- Required - Wipe system, cache, dalvik cache
- Recommended - Wipe data (REQUIRED when coming from anything other than RR5.6.x)
- Flash ROM and Gapps using latest TWRP recovery
- Reboot.
- First boot may take a while... (up to 15 minutes)
- Enjoy!

Known Issues
- Settings doesn't always come up right away; may need to close it and grant root access on 2nd attempt
- "Contacts" ... give this screen ~10-15 minutes; if no action after 15 minutes, force reboot/battery pull
- Titanimum Backup issue? Reported - but no known resolution (looking into it).17

This has been a chaotic week for me at work, plus I have end-of-the-month madness to deal with, so it dropped at a bad time (for me).
Hopefully I'll have builds done in the next 24 hours. I *may* post them as they finish building, probably at least the core KLTE build tonight or tomorrow morning after I build and flash/test it on my own device.16
I think you need a custom build variant [aka klteduos] for that device, but I could be wrong. Not sure if just klte would work for your case. Your are welcome to try, but don't blame me for bricks
Also new builds up for 5.6.8 (klte, klteusc, kltevzw). I tested myself on ResurrectionRemix-M-v5.6.8-20160502-klte.zip in conjunction with: Slim_mini_gapps.BETA.6.0.build.0.x-20160429-1623.zip
The KLTESPR and KLTEDV builds are giving me some issues, and may take a few more hours.
