How do you turn off the adblocked completely? I went in the cyanide settings and turned it off, but I still seem to have blocking activated for I can't go to external sites from FB, DealNews links, or Google shopping results.
Working CM build here guys for you to play with. WORKING SIM AND GPS, enjoy. I'll be working this week on getting vrt brought up network wise with cm so I can get working sim on my actual rom, can't keep running this plain cm stuff lol

EDIT: @rogersb11 do you take bug reports?

Yes that's what I meant but I've already fixed the issue in source at cm and for my ROM. Look for first official release for note 2 of vrtoxin later today[emoji16]

My god I'm pumped now. I was on vrtoxin but gone back to rc20 becuz of sims issue.
Now I'm excited to get android 6.0 on my note 2.
Official build of VRToxin is up here http://vrtoxin.net/downloads/

You can find my latest Shift kernel for the rom in the OP, you'll need shift-6.3. Took awhile but you won't mind at all once you flash. Enjoy guys, Note 2 FTW!!!!

I hope I'm just missing something... I'm getting stuck on the Galaxy Note II screen, bootlooping.

I have been running Cyanide Dev edition with the Shift kernel. here is what I did after performing a full backup:
- Full wipe (advanced, wiped everything but external SD and OTG USB)
- Installed ROM
- Installed Mini gapps taken from VRToxin's site (also tried micro).
- Installed Shift 6.3.

I don't know if it maters, but I have an SGH-T889 (T-Mo variant), but as i said, I am running Cyanide Dev edition with no issues.

Ideas?

Bad download maybe? I'm using the tbo gapps but same rom and kernel. Many reports of success so seems odd. T-Mobile never mattered before so can't see it making a difference now

I'll try it again. So, nothing special, right? Looks like I am doing the right steps.. I'll try downloading when I get home where I can trust my service...never know what happens at work. :)

Thank you, sir! Loved Cyande Dev edition and can't wait for this one on my old but trustworthy phone!

Edit: Double-checked the md5 on the ROM download. It's a good download. Tried just the ROM by itself (no gapps or kernel) just to see if it'll boot. Still stuck on bootloop. I tried the only other M build out there (on the N7105 forum) and that boots (but it's far from a working ROM).
I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but the only other ROM that was bootlooping on me was OrionLP and the dev for that had me test a few things and he had me try BrokenOS. I found that I get the bootloop on that too and he said BrokenOS was Slim based and that's what he based OrionLP on.

Make sure to compare md5 checksums on the download.

So the VRToxin rom is working pretty good. finally a 6.0+ ROM that recognizes my SIM card xD
Only issue I'm currently having is a warm battery during and after standard setup and it's apparently using more juice than the charger can replenish?

I used to have the same issue when lollipop first came out. To fix it I would install the ROM first, reboot into twrp, then flash kernel, then gapps last. That seemed to always worked for me. Best of luck.
@rogersb11 You make me wish I'd not sold my Note 2. Love P8 lite, but the lollipop update came too late and ruined the battery life. Glad to see you're still "cooking"
