open failed: EACCESS (Permission denied)

Dear experts,
I am using a Nexus 7 2012 Tiapila and got an exception when reading files from my SD-RAM.
I've installed AOSP 6 on it using the TWRP method after a factory reset (format).
I've also installed:
* open_gapps-arm-6.0-pico-20160312 and
* BETA-SuperSU-v2.52

Setup works fine. The problem is access files using fore example "Mobi OfficeSuite". I get an Error "open failed: EACCESS (Permission denied))."

Example:
* I download one file using my owncloud Client.
* I try to open this file using "OfficeSuite" --> I gen an error and can't acces the file.

Additional Infos:
* If I use ES-Explorer to see user/access rightes for this file I see that the file sould be accessable (read:yes/write:yes/hidden:no).
* After reboot I OfficeSuite can access the file.

I am happy about any idears

thanx

I know this is an older post, but I suspect others are going to encounter this problem.

Android 6 introduced a different permissions system, some older apps do not "know how" to request SD or other permissions defined as "dangerous".
It is meant to be backwards compatible but that does not always work. You can check permissions in app ops and perhaps grant it there, this may or may not work.

More information here.

Hi guys
I've discovered this nice rom that works fine (with parrotmod installed) on my old and slow Nexus 7 tilapia....the only problem is that audio randomly stops working (audio out but audio in too, microphone is not able to intercept any sound).
It seems that audio fault occur after a shutdown/reboot; If I shut down tablet with audio working, when rebooting audio is not working.......but If I reboot again nothing changes. I noticed that sometimes audio return to work after waking from standby....however is a weird behaviour.
Anyone knows if is there a solution to this issue?
