Android Ice Cold Project​

What is AICP?
AICP is known by someone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since than evolved as a mature rom with the BEST community you can find!!!
Rom has always been AOKP based until Lollipop.
Unfortunately AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year so we are now CM based when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Kernel in this rom follows CM source directly.


PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder.

ROMS & Bug Reporting
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Marshmallow. It is not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.

We are fine with you installing any mods you require, have fun, enjoy. BUT while reporting bugs, we advice you to report bugs if and only if you have exactly and only the ROM+Gapps. No additional mods.
We have an inbuilt logger in the AicpExtras app. So be sure to use that while recreating logs and posting it here.
In case you can't log it, then make sure to tell us the exact procedure on how to recreate any bugs.







How to flash:

• Don't do it if you don't know it
• Flash firmware 6.6.10.1
• clean wipe
• Gapps - they are needed for OTA to work
• ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes

finally fb and snap working
but this rom isn't very stable
Bugs:
- Camera can't take pictures but recording video is working well. weird (tried 3rd party cams and it's the same)
- AICP Extras won't open it says "can't get SuperUser Access" but i have enabled the root from dev settings.
- SELinux is permissive, normally on cm it's Enforcing (the seLinux switch on dev settings doesn't work either)

If all of those bugs get fixed then this rom would be super AWESOME!

Camera is clicking pics but not saving it. Even tried Snapdragon Camera app but no luck.

Sorry, but I've restored my cm12.1 backup because the camera isn't working for now

I am happy to see the development for this device is still going on. I thought it came to an end when the the developers moved out one by one and no updates happened in the last one month.

I like to help the development by testing, providing bug reports, etc.

As of now I found 2 bugs.
1. camera issue
2. Random black screen (SOD)-which makes me to restart the device everytime
