It's not ROM related. Do you use those apps? They're for people with disabilities if you have them installed & don't use them uninstall them.

Shutting down

Lately my nexus has been shutting down after it reaches 19-20% of charge . Started after the last update. Anyone else facing it or got any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem and neither Google nor Huawei want to replace it because I didn't buy it on Google store so it makes sense Google doesn't replace it but Huawei told me they will not replace the battery because m'y IMEI is n'ont from Europe and I live on France si they say the replacement will be at my cost?

so..... strange question perhaps but.... i flashed the stock boot.img from the may factory image, and the device gets stuck at the white google logo.

Any ideas why? I guess a follow up question, is the pure nexus kernel modified at all from the stock google kernel for say better battery or anything performance related?

Hi, I had the same problem last week. My phone just froze and trying a restart it went in a boot loop. I couldn't get in the custom recovery, so I knew the phone is dead. I went on my google store account, and I contacted them through web chat. The phone was out of warranty from November last year but they were very quick to exchange it with a refurbish one. That was a very good service from Google. [emoji2]

I don't know about battery, that's going to be pretty subjective. But if it's bootlooping, I'd say that it's probable that you cannot use the stock boot.img with this ROM.

Don't forget the required Factory Reset from within Settings (not TWRP).

The easiest way I've found (although it can take a while depending on download speeds) is to unenroll from Android Beta and let it roll itself back to N, because it'll do a factory reset during the rollback. Then flash PN, as normal, according to the OP. Good luck!

I didn't even want to post this issue, but I'm stumped. In the YouTube app, if I try and leave a comment on a video, the keyboard pops up, I can type... But the text box is hidden behind the keyboard. This has never happened to me before my latest flash of PN. Could be a coincidence too. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both YouTube and GBoard, and tried other keyboards. Same thing. It's just irritating as I'm a pretty big YT user.

Guys I'm running last version of PN and I've got a serious problem with Google app!! It's crashed alot (I updated it , cleared data and...) None of them solved my problem! Because of this I can't using Google Assistant , Google now, weather and also Google play as well . What should I do now?

I did it the hard way...
Flashed TWRP and got stuck since it was not able to mount crypted partitions. Then did some cleaning with ADB/FASTBOOT.

After some (sorry don't remember everything I did) manipulation I got out of trouble and flashed PN.

I had a ton of issues with O preview 2 so will step in later for testing.
