lets stop kidding ourselves...this project is pretty much dead unless proven otherwise

What's crazy is that we can't even talk about other roms here when so many people are waiting thinking there's nothing better. There's 8.1 roms better than PN. Beans said he was still working on this a while back but the Github is still dead.

Wow! Maybe you should read the thread before stating it is not being developed anymore! That is a bit disrespectful to the issues the developer has been dealing with! Maybe it is not being released every month with security updates but the developer has not abandoned the project!
https://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=75380160&postcount=39835
Common mate, the last release was 9 months ago, the last commit on Github in January. Let's face it, this project is pretty much dead, even though OP hasn't officially acknowledged it. Stating the facts has nothing to do with being disrespectful.

Now THAT'S profound...

Kinda like a dead person isn't alive if they're dead?

Obviously there's plenty of us who don't mind hanging around, helping those still using the last build, and checking in to see if Oreo has made it here.

If you're tired of "kidding yourself", please move on.

What's crazy is users NOT using the proper sections as they are intended. If you want to talk and share other 8.1 Roms for the 6P, there's a section for that.

Here's the link: GENERAL where that talk belongs.

Discussing, promoting, troubleshooting, supporting non-PN Roms in a PN Rom thread is rude, and that should be obvious to just about everyone.

Common mate, the last release was 9 months ago, the last commit on Github in January. Let's face it, this project is pretty much dead, even though OP hasn't officially acknowledged it. Stating the facts has nothing to do with being disrespectful.

Come on mate, why do people who only complain about this thread not being active, continue to come here and complain about it?

If you're tired of waiting, or don't believe it's coming around, leave. No one is begging you or anyone else to stay here in hopes of an update.

This Rom will in "fact" be dead when Nate says it's no longer supported. Saying it is dead because it has not yet been updated, is just an opinion.

Stating facts CAN absolutely be disrespectful. If you saw a really big woman in the grocery store, it's a fact that she's huge, and it would be totally disrespectful to say that to her.

I don't think people are complaining, I think they are expressing their opinion just like you are.

"..... the last release was 9 months ago, the last commit on Github in January. Let's face it, this project is pretty much dead...."

Sounds like complaining to me, but even if it isn't, it's negative and serves no other purpose than to attempt to discourage those still hanging around...

Point is; why are people who believe this Rom is dead, believe there will be no update, why do they keep coming back here to complain, tell everyone the Rom is dead, and/or run Nate or the Rom down?

Do people normally go back to a restaurant they hate every few weeks, stand in line, and tell everyone in line that you aren't eating here, you've started eating at another place across town, that you're tired of waiting for them to serve something new? No, normal people don't; unless they want to stir up trouble.

Opinions are welcomed here as is OT; unless the opinions or OT aim to run down the Rom, the thread, the thread regulars, or take shots at Nate because he's "taking too long" to drop an update. Nate's Note 3 Alliance thread stayed pretty active nearly a year after he said he was stopping development.

Most PN regulars aren't just here for the goodies, we're here for each other, for users still running PN, and we don't mind waiting to see if Oreo drops.

Those who don't like the way things are here, need to stop coming back.

Yes they do because things can change.

You missed the connection. He didn't say go back to see if it changed. He's saying to specifically go to a place and crap on the product, to turn other people off of it.

And if you or anyone does indeed do that, then they are jackasses that need to get checked out for being that salty over something that they don't NEED to use,and he has already done for us for years, for FREE.

Look in the mirror. I've never bashed any ROMS. All in saying is everyone has their own opinion.

This is one of the best posts I read in some time. Very well said. I haven't run PN in a while because of testing other roms for personal reasons but I always come to the PN threads and keep up. I usually say nothing because people like you, and others, help out very quickly. Regardless of what the OP does, I am happy to get what he gives us. And this thread is a massive store house of very helpful information. Look forward to continued reading.

settings > PN settings > Nav Bar > one handed mode

If you're on the latest PN build, just swipe your finger to the right over the nav bar if you want right hand one-handed mode, or swipe to the left for left hand one-handed mode.

Thanks for the reply.
Maybe the question was not clear.
I know how it works and I really found it useful.

I am in stock 8.1 and I am trying to setup one handed mode the PN way! [emoji5]

How the feature was implemented in PN ?
There are couple of ways to do it as far as I know
(e.g. one handed mode app, Xposed module, etc).

I tried the one handed app but it had nothing to do with the PN way which I found very convenient

Thank you

It's a function built into PN. I haven't seen anything available for stock that could provide this service exactly like PN does. I'd assume, with the number of responses you have gotten, that no one here has either. I'd recommend you keep looking for a solution that suits you, or accept one of the currently available apps you've mentioned in your previous posts. Good luck!

Have a good one!

I'm actually still on PN last build, my battery is completely dead at this point (shuts off 5 minutes after I remove the charger) but I'm waiting for 8.1 to see if the problem is solved. if not I will go back to stock build and take it to the warranty in hopes they fix it, if they couldn't I will just order a battery.

I like the Nexus 6p and I don't think any phone out there is worth the change, maybe if Note 9 comes out strong I will make the switch

Probably your battery is shot. Install accubattery and see what it's health is, but it sounds like it's toast. It's relatively easy to replace and they only cost like $15.

yeah I'm expecting it is, accubattery doesn't give me a proper indication saying it's like 80% healthy.

problem is I live outside US (middle east to be exact) so finding a nexus 6p battery isn't easy.

*changelog doesnt display anything for this first build as all changes are listed on github/xda op, changelog will be back next release!

New 7.0 Build with some more features, and some fixs, i am aware that 7.1.0 has dropped(pixel development branch) however it is not the final 7.1 and would be unstable as it stands right now(no kernel source, no gapps, etc). so i am going to stick with 7.0 until the final 7.1.1 source is live for stabilitys sake :)

Also i have taken over support of banks gapps and rebranded them as just "Dynamic Gapps" mini & full, mini is the traditional banks gapps, and full is purenexus gapps
