My substratum theme applied first try! Woohoo! I tried PN for the last week, it doesn't have substratum support... Well, it supposedly does, but after trying over 200 times this week, I realized it doesn't.
In fairness that's probably down to the update to subs and pn not being updated.

I can't restore some backups on most March based roms. Some restore, some don't. This on 3 different roms, including SAOSP :(
I believe a patch was updated recently to gerrit or github not sure, but it made front page news...

I can't restore it first, but with flightmode the restore works

PSA: don't try to use the app Battery Charge Limit to help you do the whole only charge to 80% thing. It breaks most apps on the new builds.
@snak3ater, I thought of something you could try if you get bored again like you did recently. You could try making an app that stops the phone from charging once it reaches 80%. The creme de le creme would be if you could impliment an alarm once it reaches 80, and once unplugging between 78-80 it wipes battery usage stats!!! I'd donate!

Ps, if you're not interested in apps, I understand. Just thought it might be something to try if you had a development hankering but nothing to update in your ROM lol.

Thank you for your hard work. So far so good. Questions in general and about the rom:

I had to disable USB debugging for SN to pass via Magisk. Why is that?
In theory, if i used a custom kernel with this and didn't root, i should be able to pass SN and use AP?
Any plans integrating something like Viper4A or ARISE into the ROM? A way to add it into the root without adding root? Any other sound enhancement program that can sound just as good but not require root?

I'm trying to find the ultimate rom with all the features i like but without root and this is close but just one or two things are missing and I have to supplement via root (sound eq and AP working)

Thanks again!

Great rom so far in combo with latest flash kernel, before i was on cortex 6 and i notice that the idle drain on cortex is lower then other roms i tried, including this one... not that i really bother but its something i noticed. on this rom i am around 0,45 and cortex 0,3. and also the network activity size in the statusbar is too big if i set my dpi lower....

Hi guys!! Can you give me a link for download latest radio & bootloader, and which version of Gapps should I have to download?
Please read the OP from now on as there is a good deal of information there. Also some posts before stated:

Pushed new update

saosp_angler-ota-3-9-17.zip

Dynamic Gapps package is recommended.
Flash latest vendor NUF26N .
Major changelog is in OP.
Detailed changelog is now integrated inside rom. Check 'About phone' settings.

Would like to thank @NZedPred for all the support. Really appreciate it

As for the radio and bootloader from the Factory Nexus Images website website it states:

7.1.1 (N4F26T, Mar 2017)
7.1.1 (NUF26N, Mar 2017, Verizon Only)

So if you are on Verizon I would flash the bootloader and radio from the NUF26N extracted from that factory image. Then use fastboot to flash the bootloader and radio from there. While I am not sure if there is a huge difference, but if you are on anything but Verizion I would flash the bootloader and radio from the N4F26T. Regardless, use the vendor NUF26N as stated previously. For gapps, use Dynamic Gapps, also mentioned by snak3eater.

Is there not a zip of radio and bootloader to flash in TWRP?

There might be somewhere. I just like using fastboot :) For instance in here there is a flashable zip for N4F26J Radio & Bootloader. Then again, those are from the January release. As far as I know, it may not even matter too much if you have either of those updated to the March release. Then again, I could most definitely be wrong ;)

Just trying to help you here, so you don't get run out of town in other threads where you do this. But the first thing I do when I go to a new ROM thread, is read the OP (original post), and a minimum of the first 5 pages, then I always read the last 5 pages to see what current issues people are facing. Then I flash away unless there was a reason not to in the posts I read.

I know people have already commented, but here's a screenie of info you're looking for from the very first post, it is a good example of why I read the first 5 pages before posting. Screenshot_20170311-084316.png

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. But installed latest build a d everything is working. But doesn't seem to be passing safetynet. I'm using magisk manager the way I normally would to. I know the Nexus 6 factory image was pulled due to people unrooted not passing safetynet. Think that would translate over to custom ROMs?

Do you know where I could find that? I flash magisk zip in recovery and it roots the device no issues. But just safetynet issue. I have a feeling the build number is the same as the build for the Nexus 6 that Google just removed due to safetynet issues. But just want to see if others are having the issue. Seems like you and I are.

@snak3ater Hi mate, I tried to clean flash ROM due to some problems with substratum. The fact is that when I try to change font ( I use TypeFace) rebooting device gives me bootloop. TypeFace dev told me that is nothing that could be app related. Other theme works perfectly, just font changing gives me problem.. Any advice? Thank you!!!

I've tried to use other app to change font but always get a bootloop...
