I just recently came over from Weta ROM. Have to say it is amazing, and I won't be going back. Everytime I reboot, I get this message. It doesn't seem to be broken in any way, just wondering if others have the same thing.

All I do after flashing a ROM and rooting is flash ARISE and a permissive kernel zip, nothing else. I also save my profile before doing so. Go to the ARISE forum if you are looking for info.

Guys, arise has its own topic and it has a telegram group where you can ask anything. You can also read how to use it over there.. everything is explained. Btw, you only need a permissive kernel for the atmos addon. Arise itself doesn't need a permissive kernel.

Yup, as I suggested he do at the end of my response. Supposedly, it doesn't need a permissive kernel, but in my first Deut test some time ago it didn't take with enforcing. Once I flashed permissive, all was good. Other than flashing ARISE, it's the only other thing I do and I have zero problems, so I stick with it :p

I'm having this same issue on the Oct 27 build. I think it might have something to do with the modified navbar? Adding the arrow keys to move the cursor probably broke the long press feature.

Unfortunately it's the navbar arrows that broke Now on tap. It's not the first time actually. Cm navbar patches broke now on tap in previous versions of android as well. But then it was fixed eventually. Now same problem continued. I've removed navbar arrows until this issue is resolved

@snak3ater to avoid confusion, the link in the OP to the old vendor image could be removed and banks gapps updated to @BeansTown106 's. Running the latest build and aside from the navbar issue, all is well. Thanks again!

Btw, since I'm already using 90% of the apps in full beans gapps, can I just flash it or should I first uninstall the apps already in use?

    Android 7.1 test build 1-11-16

    Change log:

    - Based on 7.1_r4
    - All the features that were found in SimpleAosp 7.0 build, merged them all back.
    - Cleaned up rom base
    - Removed 'Navbar virtual keys' for now since it broke 'Now on tap'. I like the feature but no compromise on build stability. Will add it back once cm fixes it up.
    - Added Headsup toggle with snooze & timeout options-->Status bar settings
    - Enabled night light. Exposed its QS tile and Settings
    - Added Pixel Navbar drawables
    - Setupwzard: Fix vision setting crash

    Edit: Build is running good for me. Use 'NBD90X' vendor image for now until Google releases 7.1 factory images.

    I've been away for a while due to work. Though compiled 7.1.2_r11 build for testing. Running good so far since last few days. I'll try to compile another build and release it in a day or two. This weekend hopefully ☺️
