I'm personally using Franco kernel at the moment. Seems to be working quite well.

I know the OP says to update to the latest radio and bootloader, I almost always using the latest, however, iv heard quite a few over XDA saying the 3.79 baseband has been giving them issues, so I'm hesitant, as 3.78 is fine for me currently. Ofc I can always try 3.79, and then come back if I do find those problems, I know that, but figured I'd throw it out there to see what others are experiencing.

I flashed the new bootloader and baseband images before flashing this rom. No issues here. I'm on mobile data (prepaid account) right now, replying to you. And I was on WiFi earlier, setting up the phone, and haven't encountered any problems with this rom and the phone. Btw, I'm using an unlocked 6P with EX kernel.

Current it doesn't have any toggle. Just a config that can be disabled from sources. Or by decompiling SystemUI apk

No Google Assistant. I have update to latest (no beta) version of Google App and clear all data in settings but nothing. Anyone else have this problem??

From my understanding you would need the Google beta app. It should work properly and you will also have HDR+ in the camera app as well. Before adding Google assistant took away HDR+.

I'm on the latest build if SAOSP with Google beta app and Google assistant is working like a charm. Give it a try. :good:

Its ok now with Google Assistant. The only problem now is to stay on "say Ok Google any time". I use OpenGapps-aroma-arm64 build. Any idea??

There's a reason i recommend Dynamic Gapps. You'll face problems in Open Gapps regarding ok google
