The Android Open Source Project with OMS/Substratum

Code:
/*

 * Your warranty is now void.

 *

 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,

 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please

 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM

 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if

 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

 */
Smoothness of Stock ROM with greatness of Substratum Themes

What is AOSP?

AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.

Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also non-AOSP features for a better user experience ("Clear All" button in Recents) and I'm NOT going to add something other.

What is OMS?

OMS (Overlay Manager Service) which was designed by google and its modded by our developers to include it into AOSP ROMs.In short,OMS is a Theme Engine replacement and it can do wonders!

Special and HUGE thanks to :

@INSPIRE-REX (for initial build and setting up device tree)
@Papdya (for letting me use his build environment)

PS : The substratum app isn't installed by default . You have to install it manually and then themes will work
(See screenshots as proof) and yeah the latest version of ROM is 7.0.0_r19 only. New build will be on android 7.1.1 as mentioned in moto g thread

Known glitch : (it's known glitch for AOSP browser and I faced this issue from cm12.1) :
If you type something in google search bar of default browser .. it won't show up .. but when you press search it'll show .
Workaround :
Use another browser for now or type your search query in URL bar :laugh:

Aah, an Nougat AOSP ROM! Great! :D
I'm gonna test this ROM on my mom's Moto E and report back! :)

Edit:Running this ROM with Photon kernel since yesterday and it's very stable.
Everything works so far except video recording, but it's not that important for my mom.
I haven't tested adopted storage yet so I don't know if this works well.

I discovered one small 'issue': when the phone is turned off and charging, the screen stays on (black screen with backlight)

Hats off mate. This is like the best AOSP Rom I've ever used for 7.0. I hope you upgrade this to Android 7.1. Everything works smooth. I got around 1.4 Gigs of free space after Flashing ROM & Gapps. Even after installing 14 more apps I got 823mb of free space. Thinking of using Adoptable storage with it.

Yes bro
I even played GTA 3 with my phone for the first time
And I don't think so ROM will be updated to 7.1 because Moto g ROM (maintained by creator of this ROM ) isn't updated to 7.1 yet
When Moto g ROM will be updated wi will get updates
