Finally the 8.1.0 update is ready for release :)
For anyone who might find some time today and wants to improve the translations before the release, here is a link to our git repo: https://github.com/MediatekAndroidDevelopers/mados_custom_strings
Wow, nice to hear. While this forum seems rather dead, my S3+ is not dead, and the new firmware plus Android security patches will breeze new life into this 3 year old phone. Thank you, gonna donate one more time as soon as Oreo is running on my phone.

Please provide the same for mtk6572 and Huawei honor bee

can you people please also work for Coolpad Note 3 (MT6753) CP8676_I02? At least give us a clean kernel code. The kernel code given by Coolpad isnt clean at all. We also dont have Vendor and Device Trees. Thanks in Advance!!!!

Wow if this could be done for mtk82 too, i't will be awesome

Holy hell. We do this just for fun and not because someone asks us. No offense towards you guys, but has any developer EVER said "Yeah, I think you are right. I am going to buy the model YOU own from MY money and spend MY time in order to get CM for YOUR device working so you can use it."!? I doubt it. This begging is just so ridiculous. I mean this is a DEVELOPER forum and it's fine if people leech ROMs and sources and use it on their own. We also like bug reports (even informal ones) but these "OMG PLZZ DO IT!" posts are just so tactless. I simply don't get it.

So please for the love of god use our sources, use our libraries, send bug reports or port the ROM (or simply use it). But stop asking the same question over and over and over again.
YES, we will develop for devices we (or our close friends) own so we have a benefit from it (or at least a good code base for other developers).
NO, we will NOT buy a random device just because someone asks us. Is that so surprising to hear?
