No problem, you will need to use ODIN to upgrade to Nougat first. You can download the firmware from here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=889764386195905698. After installing the new firmware, boot up the phone normally. After you've booted, follow these instructions http://www.droidviews.com/root-samsung-galaxy-s6-s6-edge-on-android-7-0-nougat/. Instead of following the steps to install Magisk, just install the ROM since it's already rooted.

@Mortifix after a few attempts of installing the new firmware I finally got it boot. I will be rooting today and I will be installing your rom. Are you going to continue development with this one or is this final? Thanks!

Yeah it normally takes a few tries with the new firmware unless you flash to stock first. Glad to hear your got it booted. I am still working on the ROM and plan to add a few tweaks here and there when I think of it. I just wanted to get an initial release out until I have time to get it how I want. I will be uploading a new version later today with a few changes.

Version 2 has been uploaded. The download link is in the OP. If you have already updated to stock Nougat and installed TWRP, just reboot your phone and do a factory reset (this won't affect your personal data) and install the ROM.

Do you plan on removing any tmobile apps?

Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
I've already removed a few from the ROM, but I left the ones that I use regularly. You can remove any apps that you like by booting into TWRP, mounting your system partition and removing the app folders using TWRP's built in file manager. I will probably be uploading a seperate zip file containing all the debloated apps in case anyone wants to add any back.
