[ROM][7.0]Complete roms for Maze Alpha 4GB based on official V09

Hi dreambo,

The ROM is the same as the v8 official one except that it is rooted using Magisk 15.2 and busybox 1.27.2 (thanks to osm0sis) is installed in /system/xbin

can you explain me, how you installed busybox? The explaination in this post doesn't work for me. After install busybox I'll get a bootloop on my device.

The procedure in this this post works well for me.

Otherwise, I have mount the system.raw.img in a linux machine in /mnt and add busybox and its links in /mnt/xbin.
Because system.img is an Android sparse image, first you have to convert it to a normal raw image before mounting it : simg2img system.img system.raw.img
After modifications, unmount it un re-convert it to an Android sparse image : img2simg system.raw.img system.img before flashing it.

I tried to install busybox with the TWRP method, descriped in this post, multiple times and always it doesn't work for me. I got just a bootloop.

Busybox is my last required thing, to install anything I need...

So, if you re-create a complete rom with busybox support based on V09, you will made my day.

I have a complete TWRP backup of my running V09, so I can upload all images that you need.

You can give me only your system.img : under the terminal shell of TWRP, you can do : dd if=/dev/block/platform/mtk-msdc.0/11230000/msdc0/by-name/system of=/sdcard/system.raw.img bs=4M
After that you can copy system.raw.img from you SDCARD phone to your PC and upload it to google drive.

I tried to execute your command few times. dd couldn't access to this file. I found no mistakes in my command string, so I copied this file to my sd card and retried the execution of dd - with success:

886+0 records in
886+0 records out

I hope the result is equvalent to the original located file. You can download the raw img here.

I upload the complete ROM v09 for Maze Alpha 4/64 in google drive, in to format : TWRP and SPFlashTool.
You can unzip the TWRP one and take only the system.img and flash it in bootloader mode : fastboot flash system system.img
I have test it that way in my phone, Maze_Alpha 4/64 (not Maze_Alpha_A 4/64) and it works well.

Perhaps because there are several versions of Maze Alpha :
Maze_Alpha : first original one 4/64
Maze_Alpha_A : new version 4/64 (the v09 update.zip is for this version)
Maze_Alpha_B : 6/128 version

i'm having boot on recovery (twrp) costantly. Also i cant use the pc (idk how but it cant see my phone, after i tried to install sp drivers) . so, how to unbrick with twrp terminal?? :/

device protection was active when the twrp backup was taken. Just a backup with device protection disabled or without linked google account...

Here is the last version at the moment of the Maze alpha ROM from 20180102 (tested only in 4GB version)
It's a complete ROM, not an OTA update, it can be flashed using the provided TWRP 3.2.1 version, I ported from a Jemmini (many thanks) version for Bluboo S1.
Unfortunately, the TWRP cannot be flashed (issue with the touch panel), only launched by fastboot.

The ROM is the same as the v8 official one except that it is rooted using Magisk 15.2 and busybox 1.27.2 (thanks to osm0sis) is installed in /system/xbin

There is also a SPFlashTool clean version of this ROM, useful in case of troubles (as official: no root, no busybox)

1- Reboot you phone in fastboot mode : adb reboot bootloader
2- Flash the provided TWRP : fastboot flash recovery recovery_maze_alpha_4G_twrp-321.img
3- Reboot to TWRP recovery
4- copy in your SDCARD and install, in the running TWRP, the downloaded ROM : Maze_Alpha_4GB_v08_20180102.zip or the V09 version Maze_Alpha_4GB_v09_TWRP.zip

For the V09 version, I have only test it by flashing, in bootloader mode, the boot.img and the system.img.
The first boot take some minutes so be patient.

The backup does not contains any account.
Just do a wipe under TWRP.

Strange, I just used that backup.
I did the wipe on the twrp and it asks google account of the owner.
I put my email and it will not accept. :crying:

It appears that the Maze Alpha without "A" now has an update to V09 dated 16 March. I can't get it as I am on the V09_A.
There does not appear to be any explanation for the two versions of the phone, the firmware or both in the non A version and the A version.
