Just to clarify, I will need to install TWRP for 5.1.1, and G925FXXU2BOFJ bootloader and modem, before installing your rom, right?

you need only the TWRP for 5.1.1 ... bootloader and modem don't need

Ok, I did it... couldn't resist the temptation with the new bootloader/modem and installed that too.

Everything seems to be working. Running nice and smooth. Only really annoying thing is the 4x5 app-drawer.

Things will progress its just Samsung making it difficult, which improves the skills of the devs here.

I held off 5.1.1 as long as I could, but knew I would have to get it done at some point

not sure why you would feel that you "had to get it done", but I guess eventually we all will be forced to..
I'm very happy with 5.02 now, and feel absolutely no need for a stock, odexed experience right now, so I will wait

Just as you stated it would have to get done eventually wase, and the annoying urge to mess around with my phone well I'm an addict and it was just nagging me.

I like 5.1.1 in terms of 3 things performance has improved (in my case at least, and finger print reader is faster than it was, and the subtle camera tweaks like when you manual focus, you can then use the slider to get background defocus. Raw support is there but not natively.

But I still think perhaps I should have like yourself waited.

My compulsiveness got the better of me

Yeh I have my G4 but devs are not present on this one yet lol

I wouldn't say never, just Samsung trying to be Apple and locking things up a bit and in my opinion it needs to stop. Samsung are already not hitting targets and they wonder why.

OK it's not all as a vast population won't root or rom. The locked in nature doesn't work with Android as we know its open source or meant to be, and Linux based? So its unacceptable.

Apple gets away with it as they have been doing it since the beginning so its just the norm.

Notice to all OEM's stop with this lockdown stuffs, we paid for the phone and in many aspects I believe you need the devs and following of us here at Xda.
