Camera is not working!

When taking a picture, any camera app FCs.

Video recording works, but without sound.
Found it, patch https://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/163722/ is still needed, but I'll have to adapt it to the correct labels.
This won't help with mic I guess, but camera should work after that.

In the mean time, as root set selinux to permissive (setenforce 0) and the camera will be able to save the images.

With SE Linux permissive, camera doesn't FC anymore.

For the record: The screen-off Rotation glitch starts, when you enable "Adaptive Brightness" in display settings.

I know we're not supposed to ask questions about "when" something will be fixed, but this is more a question of "if". Do you have any hints about what might be wrong with the mic? Anything to work on?

It's fixed and patch uploaded. Updated OP, 2111 image has this patch incorporated.

Just tested, with my tablet (advanced wipe of Dalvik, system, data and cache followed by the installation of 17-11 or later images) I can't reproduce anymore.
I just changed every display setting I could find, even switched adaptive brightness off and on several times (I have it on) and the bug is gone (here).

At the moment, I haven't really looked at it, as to my knowledge we had this working in the cm13 tree. Looks like it broke again in cm-14(.1).
Could be anything at the moment, the error I can catch is this one:

I'd say it's a routing (looks ok though) or a device driver issue.

Edit: I stand corrected, mic never worked in my builds. Not even in cm-13.0 (Haven't tested cm-12.1 though, that's based on another source stack)

@T_I: I use your CM13 built as my daily rom and the mic works very well. I record regulary some courses at the university with the TabS2.
Hmmm, which build, or do you use a nightly. (As my restored unofficial cm-13.0 doesn't record sound with the apps I have)

I use currently 13.0-20161021-NIGHTLY-gts210wifi.
The apps which I have tested are "Easy voice recorder" and "All that recorder". Both of them are doing records very well. The first app as .m4a and the second one as .mp3.

1. Quick Heads up for people want to use Substratum - I tried and it gets stuck in bootloop so substratum is no, no for this Rom (It does work on my Nexus 6 though on CM14.1)
2. Playing a video on YouTube, it was zoomed-in (re-scaled) - I locked the screen while video was playing and after unlocking it in now on Normal size. Did someone else find this bug or is this something on my side.

EDIT:: Correction for substratum: I re tested it and the only overlay causing issue was the "system" overlay. You can tweak settings, apps , navbar etc but when you apply the "system" overlay you get stuck in bootloop. Take a full backup (boot, system, data) in recovery before applying anyways.
Hope this helps

I'm running t815 version, but I have both of your problems. I've noticed that YouTube videos are zommed-in when I play them at 1080p or above

Do you have YouTube RED? if so, you can lock the screen while video is playing in background and then unlock it, fixes the problem. Then you can play any video normally. It is bit weird, i need to test this a bit more - I am using T810.

OK I fully tested it, as you said the issue only happens with 1080p and above although the workaround works every time. My workaround is to press the power button while video is playing in the background and then unlock it, fixes the scaling. When you play the next video, it automatically switches to 720p, when you change back to 1080p, same issue happens.
DEV might be able to shad some light on this.

Or you can change view to "view in cardboard" and back to normal view . It will fix it and next video you have to do the same thing.

For some, myself included, the mic not working is far from minor. I can find a wifi connection just about anywhere I go and therefore I can use Google Hangouts dialer to turn my tablet into a phone. Can't use the Google voice search feature without a mic either. Can't do dictation either. No mic is ROM breaker IMO.

Hi, great rom good work.

Feedback: Netflix no longer working for me since version from 17-11-16. Tried wiping app memory and a clean installation without success.

Keep up the good work.

Obviously this ROM is NOT for you then.
