CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.0 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.


Install instructions:
  • Reboot into recovery (latest official TWRP recommended).
  • Wipe Data, System and Cache if it's a fresh install.
  • No wipes required if you're updating from a previous build of CM 14.0 (Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache recommended).
  • Flash ROM and Gapps.
  • Reboot.

Don't report CM related bugs, it's still in alpha stage. Please, read post 2.

KitKat bootloader/modem is required, you can find it on post 3.

Bug reports:

cm-14.0 is in active development and still not considered stable. Please, try to focus on device specific bugs and don't complain about CM bugs or missing features. If you found a (device specific) bug, explain how to reproduce it and attach logs (logcat and dmesg). If you don't know how to get those, you can use this app. Please, do not report bugs if you use any kind of mods (xposed, supersu, third party kernel).


Known bugs:
  • Selinux is in permissive mode.
  • Camera sometimes crashes, and a reboot is needed.

Q) How can I unlock Developer options?
A) Go to Settings > About phone, and press five times on Build number.

Q) How can I enable root access?
A) Go to Settings > Developer options > Root access, and enable it for apps, adb or both.

Q) How can I set '3G only' network mode?
A) Open dialer, dial *#*#4636#*#* , open first option "Phone Information", there you can set your preferred network mode.

Q) How do I update Gapps? (Also useful if you have Gapps related problems).
A) Reboot into recovery. Wipe System, Cache and Dalvik Cache. Install ROM + Gapps. Reboot.

KitKat bootloader/modem files

This zip contains the bootloader and modem files from latest stable international release (MIUI8 V8.0.1.0 KitKat). I made it so users don't have to download and install the official zip, which also includes the rom. It's a flashable zip, so just install it from recovery and reboot (no wipes required).

Hmmm... I want to know about the ram management of 7.0 ? On MM free ram goes down to 60mb low with average 15-20 app installed and device starts to lag. How about N ?

Good better than mm but there are many small bugs like file manager unable to open sdcard and launcher have miss alignments big issue is camera isn't available at all for our device
