To flash the rom you will need a custom recovery. Once you get custom recovery, bye bye KNOX. Once bye bye, KNOX, no more secure folder, Samsung pay.. or other KNOX related app.

I have never had the OEM toggle issue but it does not seem to be in DO for me now :-/

Dont need to root, just flash recovery with odin then flash the rom. Just follow the steps in the link below for flashing recovery.
