the long waiting time for the upgrade to Oreo I think you are waiting for the release of the update of the kernel ironkernel for oreo not yet updated at the time and stop at v.13 for nougat this I think

I have a question .Why bixby does not work.Apparently Bixby is installed and no problem but But nothing happens by pressing the Bixby Button.
I tried to fix the problem, but did not.There are no traces of Bixby in the device assistance app .Thank you for guidance

Indeed an awesome ROM!, thank you alexega.
However, I do need assistance/clarification regarding updates to Samsung apps.
Whenever I am prompted to update and when I performed it I will get this message:
Error
Installation failed. Try Later.
(com.sec.android.app.myfiles: SIG_FAILED).
I do have a Samsung App account. How do I update Samsung apps then?

EDIT: My device is N9208 on Alexega-ROM.
For anyone who seeks to experience Bixby, here's sharing with you all:
As advised by courtesy of @Maystro: Swipe twice and clean install Alexega-ROM and I have Bixby!

You can download the first release of alexega's and Tamerlan2009's Oreo Rom for N8 (based on CRD7) on 4pda.ru forum.
For all Mods with RomControl and exclusive S9+ features you have to donate the premium version, that will be released soon for N8.
I think than there will be a new thread created here.

Yes, but everything if you pay, otherwise flash a non-customizable ROM
Payment should be free but, if you write 700 mod. you must clarify that it is paid
