I stuck with the New Rom. Just deleted some of the Xperia apps that I did not need. Moved pixel launcher to system and all is good. Very impressed and is my new DD. Great work with this build.

Guys, it's my first time using a phone with no microsd slot. If I flash a new ROM, will I lose all my data? I used to lose all the data that I have on my old phone (GS4) but I always kept my important stuff on my microsd card such as my music and photos.

Music, pictures, videos, and other downloaded files will remain untouched after a Factory Reset. Everything else in the rom will be lost. Entire phone gets wiped if you wipe internal storage.

About assistant

Google assistant is asking me set the voice everytime when i say OK GOOGLE...
So ok google is not working in my phone...suggest a solution
I even tried with clearing google app data and cache...
But still the same..even after setting voice...it still ask me to set next time....

Common problem, only way to "fix" it is to use chop assistant. Not a real fix but it's a nice workaround

Is there a way to disable the rounded icons thing without editing framework-res? I personally like the Stock icons much better

To disable,
Move and Replace origianl "framework-res.apk" to /system/framework/
Set Permission. ( rw-r-r )
Reboot.
Done.

Does Viper4Android work on this ROM? I tried flashing this zip as it was purported to be working on N with zero issues, and it looks good (see screenshot) whenever I toggle it on but since I flashed the zip I lost all sound on my speakers, haha. I deleted MusicFX in priv-app if that means anything

Don't mind having to clean flash & start over, but I would like to get Viper up and running on my second go-round. Any help fellas?

Not from my experience, no. I flashed the zip I linked to above and I lost all functionality on my speakers, haha.

Has anybody gotten Viper working with this ROM?

But
Before you flashing, please "System Backup" from Recovery and
Flash Sound MOD.

Yup just tried that, no dice - Processing sticks firmly at "no" for me in Driver Status. Tried switching compatibility modes and disabling selinux in advanced as well

A gripe I can live with I suppose. Let me know if any of you figure it out, haha :good:
