He didn't mention any tags like OFFICIAL. Can't be share his ROM? It's a lot of hard work to get and compile the ROM ! Can't he share his ROM? According to me asking him to close this thread is insulting his efforts to Redmi 2 development and discouraging him.

FIrst of all he did mention it as a WEEKLY(that is supposed to be official,weekly builds are released by some RR maintainers to some device's),there's no unofficial tag whatsoever,another thing what's wrong is the release of the build before it is released officially,since clearly mentioned on post by nick that i'll be needing some time to set up thing's when he said that i'll be taking over,and the problem with having two builds of same ROM build laying around is the confusion it creates within the user base,you never know which bug's will be reported where,what if the user's report the bugs faced by them on this build in RR g+(since our device is OFFICIAL after all) or my thread,not to mention since there will be no point in having two builds of the same ROM by two different people without any/none differences in the build.

I agree with you. Moreover, I think becoming the official device maintainer is a big responsibility, time-consuming and is a pride. They are responsibly to users and developers rom itself. So, we must respect the official maintainer and get a permission if you want to make a "same" thread.

At least he can mentions this UNOFFICIAL build, so no hurt feeling for real maintaner @s.sawrav. so we don't get confuses which is OFFICIAL and which is NOT.
