Last lineage crashes many times and rebooting. But Resurrection not . But video recording was ok and fixed very well. Thanks mparus for your hard work

Camera issue with Whatsapp.

hello, I have been using this rom for a few days now and the experience is quite good so far. Thanks for the good work. One issue i face, however, is that Whatsapp application cannot open camera. Other messenger apps (such as Facebook Messenger) seems to be able to start a video chat but not Whatsapp. I get a "can't start camera. Please restart your phone" error. Everything else seems to work flawlessly. I would really appreciate a solution to this issue, if possible. BTW , I am using a Huawei Ascend G7-L01.

Check the lineS: system/build.prop - search for word "whatsapp", then, replace "whatsapp,com" by "whatsapp.com"

i have installed twrp 12.1 but i can´t boot in recovery mode. always starts the miui-image. what´s wrong?

I tried your suggestion, but it doesn't seem to work. TBH I am not sure if there is a comma error there. Here is the relevant section of the build.prop file:

qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
camera.hal1.packagelist=com.skype.raider,com.whatsapp,com.google.android.GoogleCamera
#ro.sys.fw.bg_apps_limit=20
persist.bt.enableAptXHD=true

The comma there seems to separate com.whatsapp entry and the com.google.android.GoogleCamera entry. Am I doing something wrong, maybe? Do you have any other suggestions?

same here, for several versions now. Here's a screenshot of overnight battery usage - phone was charged to 100% before I went to bed, in the morning it was 56%...

ROM it's slow

I'm experiencing a strange slowness using this ROM, for example when I open Facebook Instagram or Play Store I see that the phone is slow in loading previews and this cause the entire phone to lag. Any tip for fix this problem would be appreciated, thank you

IME it's not quick, and internet access lags both on WiFi and 4G.

I'm testing this rom since a week and I did not found this kind of problem.
FIY: I did a fresh install from the lollipop stock rom and i'm using the sd card as internal memory.

btw, has anyone tried to flash the gyro patch for stock lollipop on this rom?
2nd EDIT: anyone tried this: http://repo.xposed.info/module/fr.frazew.virtualgyroscope?

None of these problems for me, 4G and Wifi seems good
