Thanks you for your work with the ROM!
I was so tired to wait the official update to have the Permission Manager, updates and security patch.

Everything work nice on my G760-L01. So far no WiFi problem (had them with Lollipop) or Camera issues.
The only rare small issues I have (apps not loading) are resolved with a quick restart.

After finding some tutorial how to install Lineage OS, I just had to get latest from Downloads link (20171204_114638), the custom Stable TWRP, the 14.1 SU (arm) and a Pico small google apps (Select: ARM/7.1/Pico). Everything smooth.

You should update the first post, some links are incorrect, example:

• The small google apps are here: opengapps.org (Select: ARM/7.1/Pico)

• Also the link for the Latest is outdated 20170214 vs 20171204 from the download link

My only question is, can I use Lineage OS Updater or it can corrupt the custom ROM?

Before doing such advanced tweak, be sure to backup your personal data, contact, photo/videos, logins, list of your apps, anything you need. Write them on paper or copy them on the PC, up to you.

So download everything you need in your phone: 20171204_114638 ROM, custom TWRP, PICO GoogleApp, SU (if need root).

I will also add than to install the custom TWRP on the phone I used the app Official TWRP App in the Play Store.
- Choose TWRP Flash
- Device: Huawei Honor 4/4x (cherry)
- Select the custom TWRP stable/beta file from your storage
- Flash to Recovey

The only stop at this point would be if your Bootloader is block and you to need unlock it, but I don't have the information.

Then in the Recovery Boot (If I remember it propose you to reboot in recovery mode after. If not, Power Off the phone, then hold Volume UP+Power long enough to see the Recovey)
So, it's straight forward, do a quick system Wipe, then Install, select the 20171204_114638 ROM, then you can queue the SU & GoogleApp for installation.
If everything fine, you will reboot then the first LineageOS boot, loading is very slow, don't panic just wait (10+minutes for me). And normally every good.

Well I wonder if they already solved the problem of hanging in the calls at least on my device try with lineage os and with RR and neither of them work the calls I do not know what they recommend me to try to get the driver of the mod because it may be that but not and could get nothing

bien pregunto si ya resolvieron el problema de colgando en llas llamadas almenos en mi dispositivo intente con lineage os y con RR y ninguna de las dos les funcionan las llamadas no se que me recomiendan hacer intento conseguir el driver del modm porque puede ser eso pero no e podido conseguir nada

LineageOS 14.1 stuck in fastboot & rescue Huawei mode after successfull installation

Hello, people,

I did comprehensive research how to avoid fastboot & rescue mode after successful LineageOS 14.1 update, but still cannot boot the installed LineageOS. I already executed the following steps:
1. The phone is already unlocked. (Huawei Honor 4/4x)
2. TWRP downloaded and installed, version 2.8.7.0, already has been used and through it has been installed one of the previous releases of LineageOS 14.1, successfully running for more than a year.
2. Downloaded latest compatible LineageOS 14.1 .zip for Honor 4, and for my model cherry. (already has been installed on my Phone a 1 year old version)
3. Downloaded LineageOS extras, su-root, etc.
4. Downloaded Gapps, compatible for my model AMD.

5. Advanced Wiped: Dalvic Cache, Cache, Data and System.

6. Installed all above mentioned downloads in the following order: LieangeOS su-root extras, LineageOS 14.1 (lineage-14.1-20180410-nightly-cherry-signed.zip), Gapps.
7. Scripts output: successful installation.

Unfortunately after reboot the phone stuck in fastboot & rescue mode, and cannot boot the installed LineageOS.

Here you can find the system recovery.log and open_gapps_log.txt from the installation.\\

It's seems like a selinux permissions failure.

Can't check permissions
after Factory Reset.
Please boot rom and try
again after you reboot into
recovery.

Do you have an idea how to fix them, I cannot find solution within xda forum?
Any suggestions will be appreciated!

P.S. Do not recommend to backup to the phone original firmware.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I already messed up my phone. I tried to flash recovery Huawei Ascend Mate 2 (mt2l03), and now I am always stuck in fastboot and recovery, CTR + Volume Up, doesn't switch to TWRP and cannot even switch off the phone. :crying: Any other suggestions?
