Almost every dev here does not experience this problem. So, if it is a problem you and a small number of people are experiencing, shouldn't you be the one to go out of your way to find the fix? Just some food for thought...

Some users report that the H2Os mixer paths introduces certain problems, while solving others. I thought I had upstreamed the mixer path to use the H2O one, but I guess I only did it for Pure Nexus and forgot to do it here...

Dirty flashed on top of the previous version (wiped ART & cache,) plus flashed latest 7.1 micro gapps, rebooted the recovery.

No issues so far:
Camera works fine.
Dialer works fine.
Both speaker and earpiece work fine.

Tested on LTE bands 3/7 and WCDMA 850/2100. (can't test 2g as no 2g networks in the area)

No issues in ~ 24hrs - definitely daily driver material.

Well was trying to flash latest build.. It flashed successfully but when flashing gapps its saying cannot flash gapps your android version is (6.0.1) sdk23 tired re downloading 2 times.

Look forward next build,but encountered a small problem, when i open the flash to take pictures, the lower half of the photo shadows

Nice :D

I have an other bug, i can't instal some apps with the play store, it crash before installing them and says that the process android.process.media has stop :/

    Hi guys, this is stock Android, also known as the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).

    Welcome to the cleanest rom of them all. This project is a collaboration with @updateing and a continuation of his 7.0 builds.
    Our goal is to provide the most solid taste of Nougat we can possibly give you. We may run into problems that we will not be able to fix because this is AOSP with necessary changes to build/boot the rom.

    Current Known Bugs:
    - Your recovery might be replaced with stock recovery (just reflash your recovery)

    Current Fixed Bugs:
    - Hardware buttons light up
    - AUX problems have been fixed
    - Tethering issues have been fixed

    I am wary about whether or not I will add OMS support. Most likely will make two versions of the rom: one with OMS and one without.

    Pretty big update coming up, I will try my best to provide a build with the following changes as soon as I can...

    * 7.1.0_r4 -> 7.1.0_r7
    => all modified branches updated as well
    * updated mixer paths, solves call problems for some, may create problems for others
    => using H2Os' paths
    * trying to implement the stock sounds that comes with Nexus devices (can't find the certain patch to finalize this)
    * implemented a fix that solves recovery flashing problem once and for all

    Edit:
    * Set permissions for init.d support

    As I continue to update, more will be added to this list of changes... no eta for this as well k bye

    Notes on the sources:
    local manifest
    - Some fixes are really "dirty" (as I'm not able to find a proper way)...
    - Some JNIs fail to build (lots of C++ symbols no found). You may try linking C++ libs dynamically (c++_static -> c++_shared) to avoid this. See 20160828 patches, packages/inputmethods/LatinIME for example.
    - Some apps require android-8 ndk, but the earliest version in the tree is android-9. A symlink will do (or you can change the Android.mk in app) but I'm not really sure this will not introduce any bug.
    - Android N split mediaserver into multiple processes to improve security, such as cameraserver, mediacodec, etc. But camera blobs and old HALs were not designed like this. They assume they run in the same process, thus a buffer created by blobs are being used everywhere, which will cause illegal memory access under Android N. I reverted lots of patches about this, forcing camera and codec services to run in the mediaserver process as before - security compromised with functionality, again.

    hey guys

    I think I fixed the recovery flashing issue once and for all
    Fixed mic issues for AWS band users
    Massive (kinda) update to 7.1.0_r7
    Set the default init.d permissions
    Possibly broke camera, needs double checking
    I probably forgot a lot of changes in the list above, check my GitHub
