Hey rjcool1999!
I think i messed up. I did everything you told and worked fine. Flashed lineage and it all worked fine. But then i went for GApps. Downloaded ARM 7.1 full version. Installed it using TWRP. Once it booted, and I swip unlocked my phone it crashed and turned off.
1. Okk so first of all the rule is to flash gapps immediately after flashing the rom, for begineers I'll recommend pico gapps or AROMA(if you know what components are u adding and removing) and then try to boot.
2. Do not use the latest TWRP version, rather use the old 3.0.2 version(3.1.x.x versions dont work with DWG/DUG) and use minimal fastboot and adb to reflash the recovery partition again with TWRP.img
3. Now remove your micro sd card and use a pendrive and a otg adapter for storing the rom and gapps file. Now advance wipe boot, system, data, cache, dalvik-cache and internal storage.
4. reflash the rom and gapps and try booting in, hope so your boot will be successful.
