today also for me, stuck in bootloop! Seems to system partitions was broken because after restock stock blobs and stock repartition, and flash any miui rom, there was only 1.1gb available. So i've restored a miui rom from fastboot and then storage was fixed. Now i'm tring to flash another time this rom that's very smoth and fast. I hope that this problem will be fixed in few times.

Edit: impossible to flash this rom, maybe my storage was really corrupted, after flash all like in first post my mi pad stuck in mi logo. So SAD!!!!

Have u flashed repartition zip and sheild blobs ?

I left the Mi Pad off for 5 days and after starting it there was a heck of lot of ghost touching so I force booted it which resulted in bootloop with RR logo. Rebooting or clearing cache or whatnot did not help, nor dirty flashing the RR rom.
Only after wipes and clean install I got it to boot again.

i've been using it for 4 months and i get about 4-5 bootloops already
i only notice it when the tablet is sleep mode for an 4-8 hours then reboot suddenly then stuck with bootloop
anyone here got the same problem?

Do you control the CPU by other tools while in sleep mode?
Some machine (like mine) will get random reboot when only one CPU core work.

hmmm... maybe yes, does greenify hibernation mode (hibernate + sleep) does affected by this?
also, i don't do anything on kernel configs, i'm just using the stock config.

greenify should be ok. it won't control cpu on/off.

Hi guys!,

first of all, this rom is great! Stable, smooth and fast., It's the best ROM that I've tried until now. I didn't try the Oreo version yet, because I need the video hardware decoder and for what I understand it is broken.

I've only some minor issues:

1. If I reboot in recovery mode, it doesn't work, I need to push vol+ to enter in recovery mode otherwise it starts in the standard mode.
2. If the tablet is attached to the usb cable and I switch it off, it reboots instead of switching off. I need to detach it, switch it off, and re-attach it. Doing this procedure the tablet switch off and charge correctly.
3. The power button is very sensitive, usually to switch on the tablet I need to push it for 2-3 seconds, now with this rom, it turns on only just touching. It is not a really big problem, I'm only worried when I put it inside my bag, I would switch it on accidentally and drain the battery without using it.
4. Sometime (randomly, or at least I can't reproduce the error voluntarily) when I try to switch it on, it doesn't work. It is stuck. I need to push the power button for at least 10-15 seconds and push it again

Do you have some workaround to fix these problems?

Thanks! I didn't realize that there was more than one version and I installed the
RR-N-v5.8.5-20180112-mocha-Unofficial.zip
If I want to install
RR-N-v5.8.5-20180421_041916-mocha-Unofficial.zip (that should be the last one)
do I need to wipe all the data or I can "update" it just installing it?

It's known issue for all shield blobs rom.

no need to wipe anything, just install over old system (and flash gapps, magisk, xposed again if you have them).

I have just installed this over the previous version and have also tried installing fresh however when going to sleep after a while of not being used, it will not wake up anymore when pushing power button.. what could be the problem? Thanks!

Yes I am facing the same issue.. All was fine last time I rebooted the device few days back..
