AOSP Extended is an AOSP based rom which provides stock UI/UX with various customisations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. FAQ​

1) Is the rom stable?
A: Yes, its stable for daily use.

2) Does FM Radio Work?
A: Yes, it does.

3) How to root?
A: Use magisk.

4) Does Video recording work?
A: Yes it does. 1080p also works.

5) Video playback is laggy. What to do?
A: Most videos work fine. But I have attached a blobs update zip, flash it. Video playback of videos recorded using device camera is lagging, use mx player s/w decoder.

5) Does GPS work?
A: Yes.

6) Can I apply themes?
A: Yes, use substratum.

7) RIL is not working. what to do?
A: RIL is working finr. for I9300I, flash the RIL fix. If its still not working, follow this guide and make sure your stock rom is updated to latest version.

8) Hardware softkeys are waking the device, what to do?
A: No idea!I will look for a fix.

9) Does it support any custom kernels?
A: Yes, it supports ToXiKernel.

10) What about battery life?
A: Its good. If you are a balanced user you should get a screen on time of 3.5 to 4 hrs. On conservative settings you will get upto 4.5 hrs+

11) This feature is not working. Help pls.
A: Report a bug with all the details. Your device model, all the packages flashed, kernel used, nature of bug, rom version, any custom mods flashed?, and attach a logcat if possible.

12) Edit quick tiles is not working.
A: Thats because you are lazy and didn't flash the camfix.

unable to record videos . Tried many camera apps such as cameringo , footej camera, cinema fv5 and open camera .

Performance wise rom is awesome . But there are some bugs.
1. Unable to record videos.
2. GPS doesn't work.
3. Video playback is laggy.
4. When you tap on edit option of quick settings in notification panel , screen goes black
for about 30 sec and phone becomes unresponsive.

Okay. Now i will answer a few questions and later add an faq section to the thread.

1. The edit quick tiles and notifications work just fine. It will freeze if you haven't flashed the cam fix. That's normal.

2. I didn't experience any crashes till now. Flash rom, gapps ans fixes needed. Then reboot. The first boot will take some time. Be patient.

3. The battery life is also okay. The default cpu governor is set to performance. Use kernel auditor and edit it to interactive, ondemand or bioshock as per your need.

4. Video playback using h/w codecs is laggy. Use mx player for the time being. I will look into it and see what i can do.

5. Wake with home button is not working. Flash the attached zip as a temp fix to get it working.

For video recording use Footej camera or Cameringo app from play store.

Initially it didn't work , but then i applied video temp fix from crdroid rom .
Now it works , but video is too shaky .
How do i fix this.

its not a bug. enable the music equaliser first. If the problem persists clear app data too.

Sorry. RIL is tested on both single sim and dual sim devices and made sure it works.
Follow this post for more info and steps
and when reporting a bug, tell the whole story. otherwise i will have no idea what i am looking at.
Device model, Bootloader version & baseband version (use kernel auditor app for that), zips flashed etc...
