Quick questions:

I am looking for a solid replacement for OOS (of course, that's what custom ROM's for OP devicesare about, right?). Some features are important for me, thus I would like to have them included in a ROM.

1. Ambient display with proximity wake function
2. Option to use a "vibrate" profile on the alert slider (similar to the silent mode of OOS, where all sounds except alarms are muted, still the device will vibrate on notifications)
3. Unlock device with fingerprint sensor

So my question: are the above listed features included in this ROM? AOSP CAF seems great, thus I am curious about it.

Short feedback:

1. Ambient display works, but no option for proximity wake
2. "totally personisable" is very inaccurate, you can only chose between "all" - "priority" - "alarms only" - "silent", no "vibrate" option or personal preferences
3. Fingerprint unlock works fine

About the 2 you can simply turn the volume down until the vibration mode

Yeah, sure. But just a workaround IMO. Using the alert slider would be more convenient. I really got used to it on OOS. I was running a custom ROM on my OPX once which had the option to chose "vibrate" as option for alert slider middle position. Until today I can't understand why this isn't default on any ROM. Shouldn't be that hard to implement.

    What's AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
We added few non-AOSP features for a better user experience and we NOT going to add something other.

    What's CodeAurora Forums?
Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. Software projects it concerns itself with are e.g. Android for MSM, Femto Linux Project, LLVM, MSM WLAN and Linux-MSM. Code Aurora is basically AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.

Few basic additions on top of AOSP-CAF:
    • AOSP Messaging app
    • Bluetooth "Accept All Files" Feature
    • "Silent" and "Airplane Mode" in Power Menu
    • Substratum Support
    • OOS Camera with Portrait mode
    • Nougat Bootanimation
    • Custom Hardware Keys binding
    • Reintroduce button-backlight
    • Notification Slider

    Working/Not Working:

    Working:
    Almost everything

    Not Working:
You tell me with logcats & ksmg.

    Installation:
    1. Read Everything Carefully
    2. Download Rom, GAPPS & SuperSU/Magisk (in case you need root)
    3. Boot Into TWRP
    4. Wipe cache/dalvikcache/system/data
    5. Flash Rom, GAPPS & SuperSU/Magisk (in case you need root)
    6. Reboot to System
