Stock 7 stille isn't available. I reverted back to 6 last time, then installed blur and got OTA back. But stock 6 won't install now though due to some certificate error with fastboot?? Anyway, I ended up trying 3 different lineage versions with the same problem until the latest nightly with nano gapps finaly got me a working phone again! I'm willing to try crdroid again if somebody has some idea what caused this...

Your bootloader would be the issue. The only rom I know that you can use would be the unofficial Los 14.1 if you upgraded to nougat stock. I'm not sure every rom is compatible with the newer bootloader. I'm on a xt1575 using the Los 14.1 but having issues with volte on Verizon. Disabling volte my calls work fine.

I just installed Xposed Framework, is working really good so far.just avoid to active Lucky patcher otherwise is going to end with a bootloop
Also I flashed Simple Kernel,but I noticed my battery drains really fast.Probably I will go back to Cdroid stock kernel

I also had a bad luck with simple kernel and went back

Yo I actually found a great solution! It's this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.simonesestito.ntiles and it just adds an easy GPS toggle to switch between the 3 modes...don't know if that's what you're looking for...but I know you've been searching for a while haha. Hope it is of some use!!

Hope it is of some use!!

Close, I don't want to cycle between 3 modes, just high accuracy and off. Custom toggle I think is the name used to work but I can't get it to work anymore

I really got it from here.
It tells you how to use 1080p but you can lower it till 720p. It won't drastically improve battery life but it does reduce ram usage and you overdraw. That makes the phone feel snappier and the battery life is a bit better. The screen still uses the same power.
You will need to either use a terminal emulator or turn on terminal in developer options. I'd recommend the second since cr Droid has that option.
Make sure you have some power before doing it since it kinda does a reset. Root access will have to be granted.

The per app switching doesn't work in 7.1 and sometimes the Nav panel gets removed but that can be fixed by switching again. All in all it works well.

I save about 40% battery life while playing hearthstone using 1080p instead of 1440p.

Yes. You will save a lot on GPU intensive tasks. I have my display set to 720p and boy do games run better. But for non GPU intensive tasks not so much. If you go to 720p you need to set a density at 360 or 320. But you can experiment there.

Im on the latest, dirty flashed from 3.7 to get to 3.8.3 and in the last week I've woken up 3 times where twice the phone had died over night, and another night where it had lost over 50% due to be awake all night

Seems like it is always you and me.... I'm on 3.8.3, and had this just a couple days ago. After reboot, issue corrected itself. Still haven't dialed in on what is triggering this.

I've rest it because either it died or after it being awake and losing 50% I reset it, wonder if I should have just clean flashed. I still have my backup so I might just go back to that

It hasn't been every night, but its' been like 3 nights out of a little over a week

Hey guys. Did i for once mess up good by flashing this on rooted stock 7.0 in Twrp? Seems to be stuck in bootloop what ever i try ? Seems the same all 7.1.2 roms didn't try 6.x yet
