[ROM][7.1.2][FINAL] ViperOS V3.1.1 for HLTExxx v8.7

had a slight problem regarding with swap on this rom
after a day or two of usage the kernel panics and spams Write-error on swap-device on last_kmsg

note: this is on v5.8 hltekor, stock kernel, with 2048mb of swap in lz4

any help would be appreciated

Did you change any kernel settings ? Is lz4 used at all in default settings ?

only thing ive changed is swap (or zram) and its set to lz4 by default, at least on smartpack
as to why im using it, is because i multitask alot on my device and 3gb ain't gonna cut it, and changing lmk would only lead to either lag due to low ram, or aggressively killing background apps, so i dont touch that part

p.s. this never happened on either android 9-10 roms and the old rrn, yet i'd prefer using this mainly for bluetooth(because car stereo, a9-10 has the tendency to crash when skipping tracks) and security updates

Try using it without the swap on stock settings. Or change to another custom kernel if there is such for your variant. Stock kernel should be used without any changes. Those options can be buggy....

If the problem with Miracast is in all roms, the problem is probably with the Android reciever. Try to update it. People can use miracast with my and other roms.
I don't understand what do you mean by "sound not as stable". When something is not stable it means you get an FC/Crash. Nothing else! People use "not stable" for all kinds of weird problems, but that shows poor English. Your English looks like it's all translated in a very low quality. So it's very hard to understand your problems. You need to show logs or at least screenshots so we understand your problem. I never got FC on audio in my rom. So it's totaly stable.

The problem that i feel I'm having (or maybe I'm wrong because im not a professional user) is that in viper 5.8 rom the sound quality of playing music , videos, instagram and voice calls in telegram and WhatsApp is weak comparing to rom stock Android 5 , rom custom Android 6 and android 10 superioros .
I have also checked ainur sound toutorial ,but still i feel that the sound level is lower comparing to roms that i mentioned
The other issue is that miracast with andriod srock 5 and andriod port 6 connects very fast and easily with my TV and receiver, but in Android 7,8,9,10
base aosp _lineageos gives connection error and doesn't connect at all !

Is it possible to add a toolbox to this ROM in the future?

There are no issues like u mentioned the sound is good in this rom quality wise its not as loud but quality is better.
miracast works fine ive got no issues

Hope this will help you. If Ainur mod doesn't help try other things @Eleo wrote about. Everything is written here, in our thread.
Miracast can't be "fixed", the problem is probably with your "outdated" device. If it works with extremely old Android versions but NOT with newer ones (and 7 is OLD too already) it means your device is OLD and can't handle new Android correctly. Try to update it and see if that fixes your problem.
